I have used the salon for over 8 years now, Laura Joyce my hairdresser has always impressed me with her fountain of knowledge in hairdressing. I’m always 100% happy with my hair cut. The staff at the Oxford Toni & Guy are always welcoming and very helpful. The best hairdressers I have used in all my years. Thanks

Chris did an amazing job with my otherwise unmanageable, frizzy fine but coarse (and LOTS of it) lions mane! And he did it in record time; other hairdressers often struggle with my mop for the double the time it took Chris. No complaints, exceedingly happy and will call again.

I went to Laura after a friend had a good experience and I wasn’t disappointed. She gave me a really good cut which suits my hair perfectly. Top marks!

Melissa is an amazing hairdresser

My experience at Toni and Guy was overall disappointing, particularly considering what I paid for it, which was a significant amount more than other salons. It was not at all a luxurious or enjoyable experience. Firstly when getting my hair washed, I carried on getting asked questions about whether I wanted one shampoo or two, whether I wanted a massage or not, etc. in a tone that made me very much feel uncomfortable for asking for another more than the basic options. This awkwardness was unpleasant. Then with the hairdresser: I asked specifically not to get certain parts of my hair cut and she chopped off so much of my hair without even checking, which was really upsetting as I have been trying to grow it for ages. She seemed very uncertain about what she was doing and very distracted. She carried on listening into other peoples' conversations and not focusing on cutting my hair. I have short hair and she did the worst thing possible in giving me a very boy-ish cut that I had not asked for. Then she did not follow other requests of thinning out my hair or styling it a bit more around my face. It was a disappointing cut overall, but I was particularly upset my the fact that I had paid so much for what I thought would be a well-trained hairdresser, when she seemed to have no clue what she was doing. They did give me a free cut with the head stylist to try and make up for it, but the experience did leave me in tears. Would recommend going somewhere cheaper with better stylists.

Billie did a great job with my hair and I am very happy with my new colour! She was very friendly and professional, explained what she was doing every step of the way in a very polite manner! The only slighty negative thing was that she did not remove the hair dye properly off the hairline above forehead and ears, and I was left with stains in those areas (which I didn’t realise until I got home!). It looked very sloppy! Apart from that, she was fabulous, attentive and will be coming back soon.

First of all I had an amazing young man washing my hair! It was so relaxing and took forever but was worth every minute.
LC was up to her usual excellent standard in cutting and is also a lovely person.

Your colourist Billie done a great job on my hair and also the stylist Louise very please with the end result. All the staff were very friendly always asking if I needed or would anything.

Lauren is great and cut my hair to town I like it. As I don't put much time and effort into my hair, i.e. letting it dry naturally, she styled my hair exactly that way. Great experience!

I recently received a wash and cut at this salon. My hair was cut by Lauren who was very professional and cut my hair really nicely. I'd certainly visit again.

I went to the Oxford salon because I wanted to try a short hair style... I was a bit worried as I was going from long to short but Louise did a great job and I am sooo happy! I love my short pixie style haircut and I am so glad I did it there.

Unfortunately the chap who washed and dried my hair scalded me 3 times and really wasn’t up to the normal standard.

Felt really confident with both stylist and colourist. Salon had a v nice atmosphere.

I was nervous about cutting my hair shorter since I’ve always been a long haired girl. However, Laura was amazing! She talked to me about what I want, gave me great suggestions and I could not be happier with the outcome. Will definitely come again and repeat and can only recommend Laura!

Love visiting T&G Oxford. Gemma always listens and comes up with an answer for my random ‘can we do this’ questions and achieves better than I imagined and LC is great at interpreting what I say and making it real. Great team in here from the stylists to the ever pleasant reception team. Couple of hours of being looked after, flattered and made to feel like your custom is welcome!
