Yan Hair

Really enjoyed my latest experience at Yan. I felt like Jess really understood what to do with my hair even though it was the first time she had done it. She talked me through what she was doing and what products she was using and the benefits for my hair. The massage chairs were appreciated as always. I think Yan is quite pricey but you do feel pampered.

I have long hair and wanted to get a V cut. I have decided to choose this salon, as I knew I will get what I pay for! I showed Claire picture of the cut I want and she cut my hair exactly like it, together with the final finish! My hair looks amazing! Very happy!

From arrival, I was treated well - offered a drink on a number of different occasions to and tended to by several members of staff. Very relaxing massaging chairs while having hair washed. Cut of hair was good, staff were friendly, price was good. Can't really ask for much more from a visit to the local salon!

Fantastic service, so happy with the finished product, especially as I had no idea what I wanted when going in! Many thanks to Nicole for doing such an excellent job on me :)

Amber was professional courteous and attentive throughout.Amber listened to what I wanted and gave sound advice that was welcomed on both colour and after care.

9 years of hairstyling by Yan has taken all the stress out of haircuts. I am happy to trust his advice and am never disappointed. I particularly like that he knows I do not want to spend much time on my hair and cuts it accordingly.

Had my much needed haircut with Jess today. She is always so friendly yet professional. Would definitely recommend Jess, always does such a good job. Would be nice if we could give a tip using a credit card as I never have any cash!

I booked myself in for a colour, when I was booking I was not aware I was paying extra for my hair to be dried! I was unknowly booked for a blow dry aswell! It was only when I came to pay I was advised I have had a blow dry! I'm absolutely disgusted by this and really disappointed as Michealla gave me fantastic service, but I am not returning to your Salon! I feel ripped off.

As usual i had a wonderful cut and blow dry with Chantelle today. Shes friendly, always makes my hair look and feel amazing. I love the salon and even though i have now moved out of town i dont think i would ever change salons!

I am always wary of trying new hairdressers. My aunt has been going here regularly for years and she suggested I try it out. It was a great experience. My hairdresser Amber was friendly and attentive and made sure my hair was done to how I liked it and even gave suggestions as to what would suit me. The whole atmosphere was great and I will definitely be going back there for my next hair cut. I booked online and it was so easy to process through, really recommend Yan Hair for anybody!

Salon is extremely professional in it's minute attention to service and customer care. Claire took her time to listen to my request for new styling and then put forward her suggestions based on her superior knowledge. I am very pleased with my new style and have made another appointment for October.

I love my visits to Yan. As a mum to a 16 month old it's one of the few times I can properly relax. I love the massage chair and amazing head massage after my hair wash. Chats and coffee over my haircut are a great way to spend an hour, with amazing looking hair at the end of it!

All the staff at Yan's are friendly and professional. They go out of their way to make sure your visit is relaxing. I have 2 little boys who are also made welcome and have their hair cut with care and patience. The lovely Chantelle cuts all of our hair fabulously!

Left the salon feeling wonderful as always. The lovely Mihaela was ever so professional and polite. She listened to exactly what I wanted & left me with a gorgeous wavy blow dry with lots of volume that lasted for days! Even the young lad (Tom?) who washed my hair did an excellent job & almost put me to sleep with his relaxing head massage! All the staff at Yan are well-trained & incredibly professional at all times, which is what makes Yan Hair THE best salon in town by far!

Had my hair cut by ******* a few weeks ago and despite showing a picture and explaining how I like my hair it was a complete disaster. I was left with a Lego hair complete with blocky, lumpy and poorly shaped areas. The back was left with a 'step' in it and no shape.

I have been back and it has been made better by Claire, though ******* tried to blame my hair being straight (???). No refund offered for my time and the fact I had to wait a week for it to be fixed.

I shan't be returning to Yan and would not recommend it to anyone else.

Just been and had a cut and blow dry with Chantelle at Yans. Had a brilliant shampoo from a young ( who's name I've forgotten) man who was extremely polite. Had a good consultation with Chantelle who is is always helpful and listens to what I want. I am very pleased with the result and have booked again. I enjoy going as there is always a nice atmosphere and the staff are lovely.

I love my haircut the service was so good . Worth it !

Was left with hair all over my forehead. This led to an embarrassing exchange of awkward glances between me and 2 stylists behind the counter, who then offered a tissue to remove it. It's not the usual experience I have as I mostly leave with a positive feeling. However, the service was excellent - Kate always greets you with such enthusiasm.

Another faultless service. Claire is an incredibly talented and personable hairdresser who always ensures that my hair looks immaculate and just as I would hope. Always accommodating of my last minute booking, Claire's customer service is exceptional. Despite living a long distance away, the service is always worth the travel. Special thanks to Kate who is always cheerful and incredibly helpful whether that's on the end of the phone or upon entering the salon.

After neglecting my hair for a little too long a visit to Yan Hair fixed me up just right! My dry hair benefit from a treatment while my back enjoyed the relaxing massage chairs before all my dead ends were removed and advice was given in how to style my hair at home. A good end to a busy week!

Had a great cut with Chantelle yesterday! She listened to what I needed as had a few bad cuts in the last few years and she did a fab job with very unruly curly hair. Loved the finish too! Hair wash a massage was also great and enjoyed a good read of delicious magazine which Ive just made flapjacks from after snapping the receipe!
