Just moved back to Leicester and loved the friendly, professional staff - Claire gave me exactly the cut I wanted and a fab head massage from Tom. Definitely recommended!! Thanks

I needed a change but wasn't really sure. My hairdresser (I think it was Amber) was really attentive and made sure I liked it every step of the way. She cut and styles it very well and gave me tips to maintain it. I loved it, would definitely go back.

First visit to Yan Hair was amazing. What a difference to other local premier salons. Everybody was so friendly and committed. Mihaela gave me the best blonde highlights I have ever had. She is a talented and friendly stylist.

What can I say other than Yan Hair show an obvious understanding for high standards in customer care and professionalism. From the moment I walk through the door there is a friendly welcome at reception and all staff appear to acknowledge with a hello or smile. The experience is always a pleasure, not once have I felt rushed or that I haven't been attended to. Have to also mention that my stylists Yasmine and Jess are genuinely lovely, take great pride/attention in their work and always do a fantastic job with my hair :)!

Can't say before I went to Yan Hair that I would have paid as much for a haircut; however you really do get so much more than a cut!

Ps Oh and that Christmas raffle win for those beautiful Italian biscuits had no influence on this review at all.... Honest ;)

This was my first time at this salon. I have been an Aveda fan since I lived in California a decade ago and have been highlighting my hair in aveda hair salons in the UK for about 4 years now. I asked for partial highlights. The person who did them left me, after she finished the coloring process, in the hands of the super nice yet extremely unprofessional assistant. She was called every time to check how things are. She was not happy so different things were applied to my hair over and over. My scalp burned and at the end I have dry hair, no highlights, light color at he top near the roots and a dark color for the rest of the hair. Horrid. First time in a decade that I left a hairsalon unhappy.

Was very pleased with my visit to the salon! The staff were friendly and welcoming and the haircut was exactly what I asked for. The stylist was very helpful, tailoring the service to suit my hair. Great experience would visit again.

I've been going to yan now for just over a year and my hair is in much better condition! Nicole has been helping me to grow out my fringe and layers and giving advice. Not only is the cut always great but the atmosphere of the salon is friendly and relaxed and you always get pampered with a head massage and massage chair whilst having your hair washed. What more could you want?! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The best cut, colour and styling my daughter has ever had. She is delighted and we will always ask for Mihaela from now on.

Lis is wonderfully creative and great with colours, I like different and unique hair and she is great fun to come up with a plan. Also the results are fantastic every time so thanks so much! I love the salons wibe and the guys working there, great place to have a bit of a treat.

Was my second visit to Yan for a cut and blowdry. Jess was really friendly, did an amazing job on my hair and gave me some great hair tips. All the staff I met were very personable and welcoming without being intrusive (thanks to Joe also).

It was my first time at Yan Hair but definitely not the last. The atmosphere is lively and very friendly and the lady who cut my hair was very professional and super helpful. She made me feel at ease and showed me a number of pictures of hairstyles when I told her I was unsure about which haircut to try. She was very knowledgeable and made feel comfortable about my choices. Not to mention that I love my hair! All in all great service, great staff, worth the money and will definitely go back.

first visit to Yan, excellent customer service. Stylist Nicole very professional and friendly, made me feel at ease. Also apprentice Lily was very attentive and friendly. I left the salon with a beautiful new hair style thanks to Nicole.

After travelling for 2 months my hair needed to be rescued so I booked in at Yan for a refreshing and revitalising cut & finish. Friendly and knowledgable hairdressers, nice products, always a pleasure!

Had my third cut and blowdry at Yan today by Liss. The whole team do a fantastic job from when you enter to when you leave. Busy but always make you feel special and looked after. The salon is modern and advanced but in no way is the atmosphere pretentious. The hairwash is amazing as massage chairs can be used and the team members who wash the hair give you a lovely head massage. Won't be going elsewhere for a haircut so long as I am in Leicester. Very happy with the cut and the added extras in the salon make it a lovely experience.

This was the first time I went to the salon and it was the best salon experience I have ever had. The people were all very friendly and the service was great! This will definitely be where I always go.

I had my first appointment at Yan Hair today and was so impressed with the friendly and considerate staff. I wasn't quite sure which hair dye would show up on my almost jet black hair but the staff helped me decide on a lovely coppery brown and the end result was just gorgeous!
Timing was great , no waiting around for ages and the salon itself is really chic. I definitely will be back again!

The stylist was very well, but the haircut was not very good.

There is a lovely atmosphere in the salon and Jess my stylist was great, friendly without being intrusive and really considerate of what I wanted. Should be back in about 6 weeks.

Had yet another fab experience at YAN, it's do convenient and always brilliant service. Appointment was same day as booking, what more can one ask for. Thoroughly happy customer, my new hair salon has been found :) Thank you to all at YAN that make it a fabulous experience

Been planning to have a hair cut for ages but never got around to it.. glad I waited this long as the haircut was amazing... Thank you Liss. I am so pleased with it, feel so much more refreshed with the new look n my husband was equally complementary!

My only complaint was I arrived before 6pm for my appointment and had to wait another 15 minutes. I had a long, bob hair cut with Michaela. I haven't seen her before, but she was extremely good. I found her to be very attentive, quiet and friendly. Overall she did a very good job and I am pleased with the result. I would definitely use Michaela again.

I happened to be wandering past and saw they had a 'drop-by' offer for the day. I walked in and was offered a spot straight away for a cut and finish for a fantastic price. My hairdresser Michaela was lovely and did a fantastic job -very pleased with my stroll down queens road!

First time at Yan's. Lucky I made the phone call today and lucky I was given an appointment an hour later with Mihaela. I was impressed, not least by her composure after I'd told her it had been two years since my last haircut. I'm pretty sure that it was obvious to her though, that I'd been hacking at it myself from time to time, and she didn't laugh at that, not out loud anyway. Mostly though, she did a very good job on my very "bad hair". Make sure you keep her at Yan.

Always made to feel welcome & given full attention. Everyone professional & welcome. Special mention to Kate who is so upbeat its infectious. Jess is attentive & Yan is always up on the latest products & trends. Would recommend to everyone

I made a snap booking one night and was thoroughly pleased with my hair cut and stylist.

This is my third visit and my first colour, my stylist Jess has been so helpful and worked with me to get a great cut and a bold but sophisticated colour. I always get great service and advice with every visit. All the staff are very friendly and professional,the atmosphere is happy and busy yet very relaxing, especially the head massage with a hair wash! Overall the salon makes a haircut an enjoyable experience, I go away feeling pampered and polished!

I had mihaela...first time i visited yan...she was lovely, very friendly, smiling and very attentive and listened to what i wanted and offered products and style accordingly.
Will definitely visit again.
