HOB Hair Salon Stanmore, London

Noelle was amazing, she asked what I wanted and advised me on what I should do as my hair was not in a good condition. I felt she understood me so well, like she knew exactly what I wanted my hair to look like. The wash was amazing, I sat on a reclining massaging chair, the hairdresser asked if I wanted head message and I said yes, it was great!
The blowdry was exactly what I wanted, it was styled just how I like it.

Absolutely amazing service. My son hates getting his hair cut, this was his first time telling me he wants to come again for a hair cut and that I shouldn’t touch his hair because I will mess up what Niamph did. We will definitely be coming again. Thank you for such an enjoyable & professional service.

I’ve come to this particular Hob branch for many years - Sinead and Donna do my hair. I’ve found them both to always be extremely professional and never left feeling unhappy with my hair.

I would just like to say that Hob Stanmore have the best team and atmosphere the salon feels very safe warm and friendly nothing is ever to much trouble the manager is always on hand to make sure everything is running as it should in a stress free way I love all my visits and look forward to visiting

I had my hair done yesterday by the super talented Donna (colour director) and Lilly (Stylist - cut & blow dry) and I am so happy that I literally cried tears of joy! If you are unhappy with your hair, do yourself a favor, and book an appointment with these two lovely girls! If you have time you can read my whole experience in detail below.
I had so many bad experiences trying to find a nice hairdresser since I returned to London in 2019 and only now, I found Donna and Lilly, because my beauty therapist.
I feel like Donna and Lilly, cared enough to listen to me, how I would like my hair to look and they were spot on. Donna understood exactly what I wanted colour wise. We discussed the colour, how I like the balayage done, how dark and light I want it to be and after showing her some pictures she advised me what would suit me best (I know that it's sound crazy, but none of the salons I visited, and it wasn't cheap salons in case you are wondering, the hairdressers did not took the time to really listen to me, I would show them the picture and they would say...Yes sure we can do that, and I would end up with something completely different from what I want) I believe that when you go to a professional it's because you want their opinion, their expertise not just to show a photo and that's the end! If you are looking for an amazing professional go see Donna, she will get you!
Now about Lilly, she gave me a hair cut (long bob) and a wavy blow dry that was perfection! I blow dry my hair since I was 16, I am 43 now so you do the math, and just now I found someone that can blow dry and style my hair in a way that I look in the mirror and I didn't think... I could have done better. Her attention to detail is amazing.
So thank you very much Donna and Lilly for caring enough to listen and striving for perfection.

Stephanie is very welcoming friendly person. She is very understanding with people disabilities. Her quality of cutting is amazing.

Noelle understood me from the second we met. She did wonders to my hair and I was receiving compliments from other customers in the and strangers on the street once I left!
I’m already booked in again!

Excellent service from Shaz as usual

This was probably the worst haircut I’ve had in my life - did not feel fresh or like I even got my haircut. I showed a picture of what I wanted and the outcome was not even close. Would not be coming again.

Desiree is the only person I trust with my hair colour as she is professional and knowledgeable. I always leave happy with my results.

Had a fantastic experience with adding colour to my hair was reassuring as Donna completely understood my fears.

Rohini- really helpful. I wasn’t sure whether highlights were suitable for me. She talked me through my options and understood what I was looking for. The outcome was exactly what I wanted

Before this appointment, I'd never been to a proper salon before, and the treatment was a million times better than I've ever experienced previously. Niamph and the team were so welcoming and I felt listened to about my hair concerns. Definitely will be returning!

Sinead and I worked out that I have been going to her for 13 years. I travel all the way from South London because I love HOB Stanmore.

Sinead takes the time to listen, advise, she cuts and styles my hair beautifully. She remembers every detail about previous conversations and it's always lovely to have a chat and catch up too. She also dried my hair with a new curling technique to get these gorgeous soft curls and I LOVED it.

I don't know the name of the person who washed my hair - also brilliant and very skilfully talked about products and treatments which would help my damaged hair

Amazing experience. Donna asked me lots of questions and I felt that she wanted to correct my hair and continue the care I’ve been having. The only thing I would change is that the hair washers (juniors) should clearly say their names before starting so we can say thanks here on this review and when giving a tip. She was really caring towards my daughter whom I had bought over for a haircut for the first time! She made her feel comfortable and broke shyness. She knows how to deal with children and in the future I would also like to choose Kayleigh for my hair cuts too!
