I had my hair cut and coloured by Steph who was really lovely and friendly . She coloured and styled it exactly how I wanted it. She really listened to what I wanted and was great in helping me choose the right colour for my hair.
Definitely returning to the salon in July

Had a manicure and gel nail varnish by Sophie for a wedding on Friday. Very pleased with result and had a lovely hand massage. Will certainly be back. All staff very friendly and welcoming.

Sammi listened carefully to what colour I was after and when I arrived for my appointment she had obviously carefully considered the best combination for me. As I am 'mother of the bride' in 5 days she knew how important it was to me and reassured me that I wouldn't leave until I was entirely happy. I am delighted to report I was completely satisfied with the results. I had the blonde colour combination I'd been looking for and felt that I had had a professional service.

Although very happy with the look I was disappointed that three lashes just came away the next morning whilst applying the recommended sealant this may be normal but seemed alot to soon, over all really pleased with effect.

I have struggled for years to get a hairdresser to do the colour/style that I actually want, but jade at Arcana listened to me 100% and did exactly what I wanted, can't fault the service, stylist or value for money at all, great experience :)

All the staff are really friendly and I can't fault the service in any way, excellent colour and cut.
Sammy was excellent with my little girl, chatting and listening and treating her like she was very special.
She cut her hair beautifully and then put it up in a bun like style that my daughter adores!

I notice that you marked value lower than the other areas in the salon- I am assuming you took a 'booked appointment' for this to be the case? Dont forget we offer great value 'DropInSession' with Carlo/Bonnie/Julie/Kerry/Naomi throughout the week (2pm-9pm) and all weekend if you want traditional barber prices with the 'take a seat' approach, and you can always call in advance to check how many are waiting/working before you leave. DropIn is just £10.50 for gents.x
Great service as usual, can not fault this salon which is why I've been coming back to Arcana's all these years! The experience was made even better with the massaging chairs at the sinks! Fabulous!!

Thought hair took a long time, if I had it styled and dried as well that would have taken longer . Approximately 4 hrs is rather long. However all staff very friendly .
Hi there, as you have come through as anonymous I'm not sure what you had done today for it to take so long (if it was actually today?) I can only assume it was a permanent straightening, colour correction (inc prelightening) or multi-colour/ombre service for long hair? 3.5-4hrs would be standard timings for those treatments- but if infact it wasn't, and you would like to raise a complaint (I am particularly concerned that you did not receive finishing/styling??) please do send me full details to [email protected] so I can fully investigate for you, your review was a surprise to me, and I would love to make things right given the opportunity. I have been going to Arcana in Shelley brook end for a number of years, I always come out extremely happy. Jane my hairdresser is amazing, always listens to my 'wants' , gives excellent advice and makes me look like a movie star! All the staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is fab. I wouldn't go anywhere else

I've been coming to arcana for years, especially as Ashleigh is such a great stylist. This time, Katherine washed my hair and gave a very firm and refreshing head massage. I do wish though that the salon was a bit bigger - it's been very cramped since the move from Crownhill.

Remember evenings and weekends are peak times, Friday's are busy all day, but mon-thurs mornings are always much more relaxed with only a few stylists working simultaneously. Perfect if you get a midweek day off from work or the occasional holiday day to get chores and appointments booked

Had a fantastic cut and colour with Sammy, who was chatty but proffesional and even though Salon closed whilst still finishing off there was no rushing. Excellent.
