I have no complaints about my hairdresser. She carried out exactly what I asked for - a light trim. My complaint is that I turned up for an 8:00 pm appointment and left the Shenley brook end salon at precisely 8:12 pm. I had a dry cut had no finish and no product was used and I paid £27 which works out at over £2 a minute. £120 an hour! I would give no stars for value if I was able to. My husband couldn't believe how soon I returned home and thought my appointment must have been cancelled.
Hi Maureen, Im so sorry that you had cause to complain, I understand that you also called the salon to discuss the review you posted- thanks for giving us the opportunity to discuss it with you. Im pleased that the trim was to your satisfaction, we allow 30 minutes for a 'cut only' service and this can include a shampoo if desired at no extra charge, but excludes a blow dry, generally in a dry cut we also dont apply products, but if you wanted any recommendations please do not ever hesitate to ask. Been to numerous salons across Milton Keynes over the years for blow drys however this one I never leave disappointed . The only salon I know to run on time ! Excellent customer service and the Friday blow dry bar is so well priced and leaves you set for the weekend ! Debbie is so welcoming , staff are credit to her .

I have started to use Arcana due to not being happy with the cuts I was getting at other Salons. Since I first went to Arcana I have never been to another salon and their opening hours make it incredibly easy to work around too! Couldn't recommend Arcana and especially Cayla enough.

Have gone back to this salon after moving back locally and still great Sammie definitely one of the best hairdressers I have met, she listened and made helpful suggestions and has a lovely personality. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. All staff I have met there have been great.

I thought Katie was very patience. Explained the way hair cuts work depending on the layers. Also explained products and how to cope in different ways with my particular hair. All in all a pleasant appointment. I have booked another appointment

I had a colour disaster to fix sinMy hairdresser spent a long time with me to make sure she understood what I was looking for and how best to fix it . She was really friendly and chatty and it made what I really don't like (sitting in a salon) enjoyable . The results ? Amazing - hair looks so good you'd never know it was awful beforehand . I come into the salon with horrible hair uneven felt horrible after leaving I felt like a princess ! My hair was so soft and shinny the cut that sam done was absoulty amazing and I now won't go anywhere elce. Was made the feal very welcome and the massager chair was a nice bonus you have boosted my confidence loades so thankyou !!.

Very good but very expensive
thanks for the feedback Suyangi, you did see a senior stylist for the cut which makes it slightly higher priced than a 'basic stylist' charge bracket, this was just to accommodate the last minute booking we made, perhaps next time request a lower level (or even graduate or stylist) for the colour application to keep costs own for you, the blow dry is free of charge with colour either way. We are delighted to see you felt the service and value were 5 stars however; thank you!
