Was met by Chloe at reception who made me feel welcome as always… I had a lovely chat with Neve while she did a wonderful job with the hair wash. It was my first time seeing Esme for an cut, and she took the time to talk to me about what I wanted from my hair and gave me some great tips for styling at home. Went to Haringtons in Beaconsfield for a blow dry. What a lovely welcome from Chloe who was front of house, so smiley and polite. Was then taken to Esme who gave me great options and advice taking lots of time to understand the event I was going to and how to wear my hair based on my outfit. Neve took me through to wash my hair, literally best hair wash EVER! Neve was so thorough checked comfort and temperature of water with me, gave the most amazing head massage. Esme did the most incredible job on my hair, beautiful finish and even clipped it up so I could keep it as best as possible until the evenings event. Experience and service was second to none, have booked in again, thank you so much 😊

My life has been insanely full on recently and I booked colour and a haircut for this afternoon to recuperate. As ever, everything was calm and quiet, nothing was too much trouble and I have come home refreshed and renewed with a lovely new colour and an excellent haircut from Richard. I left the salon so unhappy wanting to hide my hair, I hate it so much. I’ve asked for a natural look and I got almost orange highlights on dark brown hair. I’ve never had to go back to the salon before and let them know how much I’ve dislike what was done to my hair as it didn’t reflect at all what discussed in the preliminary consultation. The treatment given afterwards trying to darken the highlights/balayage left my hair super dry, with no shine - I feel like I am wearing an old wig right now

I came in yesterday and had an absolutely lovely experience. Shauna did exactly the colour I wanted. Throughout my time with Laura she was absolutely lovely. Unfortunately I’m not as happy with the finish as I was the last time I came to Harrington’s. The length is extremely short compared to what I was hoping for. I know that my hair is very curly but I think when getting cut, it wasn’t considered that my hair would bounce up. It’s now above shoulder length since putting my curls back in which is definitely not what I was after :( . Also I mentioned I didn’t really want the diffuser used on my hair to finish it as it usually makes my hair go frizzy and uncontrollable, but one still did get used and the result wasn’t what I’d hoped for.
I’m not wanting to cause any problems from this review, I just want to be honest about feeling quite unhappy with the end result as I had saved up to get this appointment. I didn’t say there and then that I wasn’t happy at the time because I just wasn’t sure how to, but I had the best overall customer service experience. The end product just wasn’t what I’d hoped for :(
