I’ve never visited Harrington’s before, and entered the shop feeling vulnerable and tearful after an unfortunate experience elsewhere. The staff at Harringtons however were fabulous, and manage to squeeze me in that very day.
Having been battling an aggressive cancer for a few years now, it’s taken awhile for my hair to grow back after chemo and I’d lost a bit of my confidence in the looks department. This was until I met the fabulous Richard! He truly was just the tonic I needed at that moment in time, his people skills are phenomenal. Showing both compassion and understanding of my situation, it is down to Richard that I ended up leaving the salon feeling on top of the world. My family said it was the best haircut they’d ever seen on me. In fact, both my adult children have now booked appointments there, which really does speak volumes.

Excellent. He was prompt and welcoming and took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and delivered this. Personal and talented I was very happy and would highly recommend.
My haircut with Zoe today was really fantastic, she did a great job. She listened to everything I said with great consideration, consulted with her trainer when she wasn’t quite 100% on the best thing to do to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. So polite and easy to engage with. Also maybe my favourite haircut I’ve ever had looks wise. Really really happy.

After having my hair coloured, I was told they were too short staffed for someone to dry it. Someone handed me a hairdryer and a brush and said I had to dry it myself. I ended up having to leave with soaking wet hair. The person doing my colour, didn’t even come out to check my hair and as it was soaking wet wouldn’t have been able to check it anyway.
Having got home and dried it the blonde part are not blended and I have big chunks of blonde.
I was also left with dye stained all over my ears and forehead which I couldn’t get out before leaving the salon.
