The stylist cut hair for my daughter & I just as I asked for, so very pleased with finish & cut. Sadly, disappointed with the unexpected hike in cost. When booking online I had an e-mail to confirm the booking & that the price would be £50. On payment I was told nicely that the cost had gone up in the new year. In hindsight I think the salon should have honoured the price listed at the time of booking. And I should have been made aware of the increase for future bookings. As it was a significant increase to the advertised price. It left me leaving the salon a little less satisfied than I anticipated!

I dropped in on the off-chance of getting my haircut, as we are new to the area, and I hadn't managed to squeeze one in since moving. I was greeted by a female stylist who directed me to the reception desk. There I was met by Gareth, who was very welcoming, and said he could do it straight away if it was convenient. Gowned up, I was taken for a hair wash. This was excellent as usually salon washes are a bit feeble, but this was a good firm wash.
Gareth then asked what I was looking for, and after explaining my nightmarish thick and wiry hair, he got stuck in. He explained how he was going to tackle it and asked relevant questions. We then chatted while he snipped away. He used a couple of products on my hair, which is not something I usually bother with as my hair has a mind of its'own. After about 40 minutes I was done, and I was very pleased with the result. It was very different from my usual short back and sides, and the products have given it a bit more definition and shape.
I was really pleased with the way that Gareth managed my hair, as I have been turned away before because it was too wiry. I would definitely recommend Iconic after my very impressive visit to their salon.
