It was my first time visiting the salon and it was a great experience. Staff were really friendly and welcoming and I have found my go-to place. I wanted to visit a modern salon and have confidence in a modern stylist which is exactly what I got from Ben. Strongly recommend :)

After spending time with Millie and the team of girls I always leave Rubies feeling positive! I not only get a great cut and colour from Millie but each and every one of the girls make me feel so welcome. Wow - so impressed ! I have been to many hairdressers in my life - indeed I could write a book ! Rubies has earnt my top award - it ticked all the boxes ! The atmosphere as soon as walking in - very welcoming- I had a consultation with Ben who tuned in with me as soon as we spoke ! I came away very confident that I was understood and that this time I just might have a good hair experience! Oh and I did ! As Ben got stuck into my re-vamp we discussed future colours and styles - he is an excellent hairdresser who is very knowledgeable and together with a warm and engaging personality made my visit an excellent experience !
I must mention Louise - the owner of Rubies - who was training an apprentice whilst I was there - by ‘eck - what an amazing tutor she is ! I asked Louise who trained her as they had done a dam good job ! Very thorough and was explaining the why and wherefores of everything she was demonstrating! I couldn’t hold back - I just had to interrupt and tell her how impressed I was !

Always a lovely experience having my hair done at Rubies. It’s not like your usual hair salon, it’s like coming home and a family member does your hair. Always warm and welcoming. Always take time for a chat and a brew. Before finding this salon I hadn’t been to a salon for many years as I found them judgemental and just didn’t listen. Rubies is different, you are part of their Rubies family and are treated like a queen. Highly recommend xxx

I was recommended Rubies having recently moved to the area. My initial consultation was with Annabelle, she listened, advised and I left really excited for my appointment. When i arrived today Millie had been briefed - she knew exactly what I was after something noticeable but also subtle (if that makes sense!) and she delivered!! I’m very happy with my balayage colour. Annabelle then styled my hair giving me some gorgeous waves and I left feeling great. I can’t not mention the young lady who rinsed and washed my hair, she took her time, was gentle and even gave me a lovely head massage which just added to my excellent salon experience. Highly recommend the team at Rubies, such an upbeat and friendly atmosphere ? I will be back.

Ben was a sound guy, I've always cut my own hair and my partner and son come to rubies and fully recommended them, Ben listened and explained when I wasn't sure what was what and gave advice regarding the cut and style and I can say that I won't be cutting my hair ever again, my partner loves the style and is relieved that I'm leaving it to the professionals.
