Lucy was incredible, she made me blonde but still subtle and natural and she was super friendly and accommodating the whole time. We had a lovely chat!

My whole experience at The Chapel was a delight. The greeting was warm and welcoming and I was made to feel at home straight away. The whole atmosphere is peaceful and tranquil, not something I usually associate with getting my hair cut. Lucy is an absolute angel and I was so pleased with the end result, felt like a completely new person. Will definitely be recommending The Chapel to my friends.

Becky has been my hairdresser for many years and I followed her to Horsham from Tunbridge Wells.

Not only is she a wonderful hairdresser but is a lovely person with a lot of empathy and made our appointments far more about having a haircut.

I always enjoy me visit to the chapel. It’s very stylish and always love my hair when leaving. Ellie takes care of me and always wants to provide excellent service.

Ellie gave me a wonderful head massage and took a lot of trouble cutting my hair.
Sadly though, the curls all fell out on my way back home. I am sure the weather played a big part but my husband was dismayed....

This was my first visit to the salon. Sarah was great. She listened to what I asked for and delivered. She was really easy to talk to too. Really happy with my hair.

I’ve always hated going to the hair salon, intimidated, self conscious and never actually get what I want. Not anymore … I wanted to embrace my grey and went to see Lucy G at The Chapel And WOW … 4 relaxed hours later (being treated with seemingly unlimited drinks and snacks, and a bonus head massage) I emerged, no longer a scruffy, grubby half grey half brown helmet, but a very chic steel grey well conditioned head of hair. Coloured, cut and styled with a quiet assurance and professionalism, Lucy also explained the (fortunately, because I’m lazy) low maintenance needed to keep it up. And to finish, there was no hard sell at all for products. I cannot recommend this salon and Lucy G highly enough, especially for those who’ve either had a bad hair experience in the past or who’ve given up and let themselves go a bit like I had and got to the point of being too embarrassed to do anything about it. I feel great and my hair looks great! Thanks Lucy and The Chapel.

The best salon experience I have had in West Sussex, simply wonderful from start to finish. The atmosphere is so relaxed, all the staff are so lovely, the cut was done amazingly 10/10

Elegant, spacious, calm environment - makes for a very enjoyable experience. I arrived as a new client with an unfortunate tight timeline and the entire staff was understanding and accommodating. Mark was a true professional - asked for my input and offered his feedback when I asked what he thought. Love the salon approach to having one person take care of your entire visit - no handing off between wash/prep/cut/dry. Most importantly, love the cut and style - exactly what I needed. Only wish is that I had had more time to stay and enjoy the appointment. Will absolutely return!

2 months postpartum and I wanted a new hairstyle, cutting off most of my hair from the long length it was to a bob. I had never visited the chapel before but read so many lovely reviews and comments about it I thought it sounded like a great place to do the big chop! Mollie was so attentive from the consultation to showing me how to style my new hairstyle. I have definitely found my new favourite place to go and won’t be going anywhere else for my hair now. First class service and cut from Mark, it very evident that his career has been in several top salons.

I used to hate having my haircut but not now! Mark is brilliant with hair and really easy to talk to. I am often complimented on my hair when I have had it cut. The all round experience is wonderful a feels like a treat to myself.

As usual my haircut by Sarah was perfect. I have never had such a good hairdresser and followed her from her previous job. It's always as I want and expect. Having been in the past to some of London top hairdressers..none achieved this.

I was nervous about this haircut as my hair is curly and have had bad experiences in the past. Sarah was brilliant, listened to my worries and exceeded my expectations! I got the haircut i wanted and happy to have found a new place in Horsham where I can return.

Left disappointed and underwhelmed - I was left feeling like an experiment as stylist seemed completely clueless in how to cut and dry curly hair. Left with flattened curls and a halo of frizz

Mollie has been my hairdresser for a few years. Everytime I have my hair cut Mollie does exactly what I have requested with plenty of advise and suggestions to make sure I leave feeling & looking amazing. On this occasion I brought a new style to her and she completely surpassed my expectations by making it look even better than I could imagine. Such a talent and a wonderful person too!

Wow! From first entering the Chapel , I knew that the experience would be unlike any other salon I'd visited. Your initial feeling is of space , calm and incredibly welcoming . There's none of the usual hustle and bustle that you normally find in hairdressers. Your hairdresser has one guest (you) and for your allocated time there that's the only person who attends to you ... There's not a queue of people sat waiting ... it's just you and your hairdresser, which is just so refreshing . You feel special and that your feelings matter and count ... and you definitely don't feel that you're on that "Next"
conveyor belt. I was met by Molly initially , super friendly and lovely making me an Earl Grey (yesss) whilst I waited for(super) Sarah to cut my hair ... also caught up with Heidi the hostess with the mostest , she just makes you feel so at home and comfortable.
I have short hair so I like a good precision cut and Sarah definitely didn't disappoint . A superb cut with so much time taken ...constantly asking if I was happy and discussing the finer points ( pardon the pun) of the cut .... Brilliant... fantastic result and have booked my next appointment. A thoroughly relaxing, therapeutic experience. Thank you all !

I had Lucy do my hair into pin curls for an event I had on Saturday night and I honestly couldn’t have been happier with the outcome of how my hair looked and how It stayed all night. Lucy was so lovely and I can’t thank her enough for her incredible work!

I booked as I needed my hair done for a party in Horsham. As I travelled from a holiday straight to this party. I looked you up and loved the look of the salon. I received a lovely welcome as I arrived and made to feel very relaxed as I’d not been before. Very happy with Ellie and she did my hair just as I wanted.
