TONI&GUY Birmingham

Came in for a simple root toner to cool down some warmness in blonde hair, hair was made blackish grey. I've had quite a few toners done here and know for sure it's not how it was meant to turn out. The colourist was beyond rude and didn't even apologise. I had a balayage style that is now ruined, yes it will wash out but I don't think that's the point, you don't go to a hair dressers to have you hair look passable in another 2/3 weeks. What's worse was that he didn't bother to make sure the sink was in the right position so he utterly soaked my clothes which were dried off to damp by another hair dresser. So sad because there are some really talented people that work there and the manager is great too but I was so upset by this experience I wouldn't even feel comfortable coming back.

I had my hair done with Alan today and I felt like a million dollars when I walked out. He transformed my long dry curly hair in to a smooth,volumous and manageable hairstyle. I was very impressed with his skill and professionalism. He deserves top marks for taming my curly frizzy hair!

Alan from T&G Birmingham goes over and beyond to listen to how you want your hair and then magically transforms it into an amazing cut and style. I hve struggled in the past to find a hairdresser that will make me venture out from my normal haircut, and have a new look, with Alan I have now learnt to experiment with new styles. Impeccable service.

I went in with long hair, past my shoulders. I showed a photo of what I wanted. I left looking ridiculous and nothing like the requested hair cut. I didn't even complain as I was so gutted and embarrassed and knew the damage was done, I just wanted to get out. The stylist was very friendly and chatty, the salon looked lovely, all staff were attentive, which made it even harder. My hair is ridiculous and I now where a hat. I've looked for an email address to send them a before and after photo along with the requested hair cut, but can't find one anywhere. I can't even describe how bad it is.

Staff are not the friendliest, direction of what you want is not taken into consideration and time is not taken to ensure what client wants and the direction for the end result. Tend to feel rushed through consultations

As always I had an enjoyable experience from the time I walked in to the time I came out. The service, professionalism and friendliness of all the staff I encountered was amazing. It all keeps me coming back. The reception staff are always welcoming, Demi and Lauren are so skilled and talented. Everything is discussed and there has never been a time when they have done my hair, that I've felt disappointed. I looked fab, thanks girls. I got a complimentary treatment for waiting for my cut which was lovely but to be honest it didn't wait long at all and I had magazines and offered drinks whist there. My hair appointments are my pamper time so it's all a pleasant experience. It isn't a cheap do but my time there was worth it. I can't remember the girl's name that washed my hair and did the treatment but she was lovely and has a great personality for the job and is so enthusiastic about colouring, it sounds like she is doing well with her training and I like that Toni and Guy invest so much in the training, the results are all there.

Very happy with my hair cut stylist Jessica is very good she listens and cuts the right amount of hair off, not many people know where to start with my hair as it's quite difficult for the style I am after but Jess knows exactly what she's doing. Simone is also a very good hair stylist I would highly recommend these two.

Have been going to T&G for many years and for most of that time have had the same stylist (Lauren)
She is a great stylist, friendly, great personality and very professional. I would never go anywhere else and would definitely recommend T&G and more importantly Lauren.

Can't think any more highly of toni guy in Birmingham, from the customer service to the atmosphere everything is amazing. I have been going to Alan for around 4 months now I can't thank him enough, my hair is the best it's ever been and you can genuinely see and feel that he loves what he does. From the minute I walk in I get great customer service from the receptionist and always makes me feel welcome and Alan is never late to start my appointment in fact I always get seen earlier :) amazing place and amazing employees can't say anymore more!

I had a lovely experience at the Birmingham city centre Toni and Guy last weekend, Matt my colourist was great, he listened to what I was after with my colour and came up with a workable solution that matched exactly what I wanted with minimal hassle and offered helpful professinal advice throughout., despite clearly being very busy that day. The staff at this branch are all lovely and it has a friendly relaxed vibe, all in all was very happy and will definately go back. Highly recommend!

As usual the service received today from Demi and Simone was fantastic. A very comfortable, professional and friendly setting from the receptionists to colourists and stylists. Feeling really pampered and so pleased with the result of my colour, cut and finish. Looking forward to my next visit already.
