About us

Located in The Mailbox, Birmingham’s premier luxury shopping centre, the Nicky Clarke Hairdressers Birmingham Salon opened in March 2004 and quickly established its status as the city’s leading hair salon.

The salon team continues to go from strength to strength and regularly heads up Birmingham’s most high profile fashion shows, including Harvey Nichols’ seasonal fashion shows and the hugely popular Style Birmingham. Our hairdressers are proud to provide Birmingham with outstanding, beautiful hair treatments and services in styling and colouring.

Jess is fantastic, always listens to me and executes my idea well! Why I return and pay the prices!!
However, the shampoo and conditioner girls are a bit hit and miss. I’ve had some that are excellent and I really feel like my hair is clean and the scalp massage is lovely, however recently I felt like it was a very short wash of my hair didn’t quite get water everywhere that product wasn’t really worked into my hair and the head massage was practically non existent. The girls are pleasant lovely young girls but technique is lacking.

My hairstylists were very good. However when washing the hair, it would be nice if they also use stain remover to get rid of hair colour around the hairline/ears, as other hair salons do, rather than expecting the client to do it.

Good haircut and nice guy. For £110 I would expect to be offered a nicer refreshment than tap water in a paper disposable cup. Doesn’t really say pampering experience to me which is what I want when paying that amount. Whole experience felt abit rushed too with minimal consultation at the start.

Hi Lorna, during tight Covid restrictions we were unable to provide refreshments, now that restrictions have lifted, a new coffee machine is on order and due to be fitted next week, we are sorry this was not in place in time for your visit. For hygiene reasons we will continue to use disposable cups.

It was a great experience i asked Harvey for a restyle and he delivered so well made me feel like a new person. Had my test patch and will be back for colour soon. Oh and the young girl who did my shampoo kelly i think her name was but she was lovely ?
