Located in The Mailbox, Birmingham’s premier luxury shopping centre, the Nicky Clarke Hairdressers Birmingham Salon opened in March 2004 and quickly established its status as the city’s leading hair salon.

The salon team continues to go from strength to strength and regularly heads up Birmingham’s most high profile fashion shows, including Harvey Nichols’ seasonal fashion shows and the hugely popular Style Birmingham. Colour and blow dry

Collette is a fantastic colourist, but there isn’t anyone that can give a good blow dry after the colour to complete the experience apart from the stylists which isn’t an option. I have been a customer of yours since the salon opened in the mailbox and have an appointment every four weeks, but have to blow dry my hair myself after it has been coloured. I had my hair coloured yesterday which cost me £90 and thought I would have it blow dried to complete the experience but I was very disappointed with the outcome and left the salon very upset. Collette did ask if I wanted a roller put in to give it some body but it wouldn’t have made a difference. It was a mess. It was a good I was going home. The only time I can get a decent blow dry is when I book a stylist for a cut.

It’s great to hear that you are happy with your colour, and colour technician Colette. In regards to your blow dry, we offer a free rough dry service from one of our assistant trainees, this is what you were provided with. These young men and women are still learning but try hard to please. We obviously have to charge for the services of an experienced stylist to blow dry your hair, perhaps this would be more appropriate for the look that you wish to achieve.
