Regis Hair Salon - Gateshead

Firstly, I cannot fault Evelyn. Fantastic customer service, very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. However, value for money is highly questionable. I was very shocked to get a bill of £131!!! I don’t feel my experience was any different to my normal salon, I normally pay around £60-£70. Based on the price of £131, I will not be returning to Regis.

Great experience Always does a great job

We visited today and it was an awful experience. I took my daughter for a dry cut. ***** was very unfriendly. I had to ask her name . I asked for the Wi-Fi password and she said she didn’t know it. I asked if she knew what a wolf cut is she said no . She started to cut my daughter’s hair without dampening it or anything. She didn’t speak at all. I asked her if she could shape it around her face as the hair was just in my daughter’s eyes and face . She said my daughter had a small forehead which meant it would always fall in her face? When she finished she’s handed me the card reader. I had to read it was £20. My daughter got outside and cried . She doesn’t want to go to school tomorrow. She said she was really uncomfortable with the hairdresser so didn’t want to say she didn’t like the way it was cut . I understood because throughout ***** was unsmiling silent and unfriendly. We are really disappointed. Would love a refund as I have to take my daughter to another stylist asap to correct this cut .

Lovely greeting upon arrival, nice relaxed vibe in salon. Consultation went great explaining what I would like and that’s exactly what I got great new style.great hair wash from young girl halle. Will happily return and recommend.

The lady cutting my hair today was called *****, she was polite and talkative but the whole experience was so painful!

I had a caramel balayage and spent over £200 but have come out with a sore head and residue of dye on my forehead, in my ear, on my eye brows.

The lady backcombed my whole head in order to apply the colour and then very painfully combed it all out. Not an enjoyable experience at all. Definitely not worth having so much money and incurring a migraine.

Absolutely brilliant hair stylist. Lovely lovely person. So enjoy my salon experience with Kirsty. Goes above and beyond. Look forward to my return.

A lovely relaxed hair cut came out feeling a million dollars

Evelyn has been my hairdresser for 20+ years which goes to show how much I enjoy going to Regis. The salon has a lovely friendly atmosphere and I always leave feeling 100% better than when I went in.

Have used this salon for a while now, they are always very welcoming and nothing is a bother. Ashley is always cheerful and friendly cuts and dries my hair just how I like it.

Hair cut was good. It got rid of the dead ends but it was very expensive for what I had done. I normally get my hair cut in London and it costs £20. I thought due this being £57 and in a branded salon that the experience would be of better quality. I also had to wait almost an hour after my appointment time to get my hair cut.

This is the first time I have had my hair curly on top. Cut is the best I have ever had. Colour is perfect and made a real difference was white before. My hair is the best it's ever been thanks to Kirsty for excellent service.

My hair was in proper bad condition and all different lengths, Alison really sorted my hair out & recommended some good products to me too.

Went to see Julie to have a really terrible hair cut fixed. She worked her magic and did an excellent job. I can now face the public again.
