As always, Evelyn was friendly, professional and I always feel my hair receives expert care. It is a time when I can completely switch off and know someone else is going to look after me.

Great cut and company as always . Julie and all the staff make me feel very welcome and even call my grey hair blonde !. I always look forward to my hair cut always great fun.

Kirstie was ready when I arrived and looked after me extremely well, I always feel welcome and completely trust Kirstie to do what is best for my hair, colour, treatments and cut as she knows me well. It is the personal service she provides, alongside so many clients, Kirsty remembers me, and from the conversations we have during salon visits, she always asks after my pets and family, she is a wonderful person as well as a highly skilled hair stylist. Additionally, there is another stylist who doesn’t do my hair (Ashley) who always says hello and takes a minute to chat. I cannot stress enough how much I value customer service and what an asset these members of your team are.

First visit to the salon for a restyle by Anne. I absolutely love what she has done to my hair. Amazing service and I cannot thank her enough. So many compliments on the cut and style. Best Christmas present ever !

As always had a perfect all round experience and fab hair cut

So disappointed, I got an appointment last minute prior to a job interview, I’ve been to Regis before in London and thought I would try metro centre.
The stylist was lovely, very chatty and made me feel comfortable, although no one else spoke to me. I went for a full head of highlights, they didn’t ask me about the shade I wanted, or toner etc. I was told she only did highlights, nothing else so this made me nervous. I’ve had bleach put on my hair for about 5 years and my hairs very very long and healthy as I’ve been very patient with getting the outcome I have always wanted. The foils didn’t seem like they were sectioned well enough and the pieces of hair taken were too large so I’m left with lines throughout my hair.. having to get redone once my hair has recovered.
Once washed, there was a small knot in my hair, and instead of snipping it with the scissors which were right next to her, or trying to detangle to loosen, she snapped it out my hair, pulled both ends of my hair and snapped it out!?
I was left alone for what seemed like forever, checking the foils myself I knew it needed to come out and there was no one around to speak to, this resulted in me having snapped areas round the front of my hair due to it being left on too long. I usually pay no more than £120, and that’s when my hairs been left for longer than usual, but it cost me £158, for what is more like half a head of highlights? so disappointed and will not be returning.

My daughter has really thick, dry wavy hair. Alison took loads of time to comb it all out gently then give her a lovely cut to lighten her hair and allow her curls to come back. She had a lovely blow dry with a great finish.

I would highly recommend Regis Salon - Gateshead. I’ve been coming here for a number of years now and am always happy with the service I receive. Kirstie is an amazing stylist and colour therapist - I completely trust her advice and always leave the salon happy with the result.

Kirstie has cut and coloured my hair for five years and I’ve been more than happy with every visit. Today I changed my hair colour (not for the first time!) and, as always, she talks through everything and gives good advice. The salon itself is very friendly and welcoming and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Nicola is a talented stylist that spends time finding out what I want from my hair. Always delighted with the result x

Well I must say it's been YEARS since I've seen my hair look so good! Have been frequenting another top salon for years, just wasn't feeling the 'stepped out of a salon' look anymore, hence decided to give Regis a go. I think you've got me hooked now! Fantastic customer service & a very friendly welcoming team. Will definitely be returning. Many thanks Joanna for transforming my 'straw look' to a luscious sleeky locks look :D
