I discovered Julia Lampard's salon when I moved to Guildford in 2012 and needed to find someone local I could trust to cut and colour my hair, rather than drive miles to the salon I'd been going to for years.

Everyone on the team is special in their own way and they make sure all their clients are happy bunnies. But in particular, Hayley and Lillie are brilliant with colour and Lillie has also cut my hair really well whenever Julia isn't free. Mariam is fabulous... especially kind and helpful when my friend had chemo and needed wig advice. Lauren, the relatively new Junior, has fitted in very quickly and is a delight. And Julia herself is an absolute star. I'd recommend her salon to anyone (and have seen clients of all types having their hair done while I'm there). It's a bonus that the pricing is very reasonable...I think worth every penny. To me, the salon is welcoming place of refuge...I rush in stressed out and looking a mess...and emerge feeling calm and relaxed and with gorgeous hair. This was my second visit to Hayley for a half head of highlights. I first went in February 2017 for a full head having been diagnosed in March 2016 with breast cancer and this was my first opportunity following chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy to have my hair coloured. It is important that the products used following chemotherapy are ammonia and paragon free. I was delighted with the results on my first visit and am delighted with the results of my second. My daughter has been so impressed with how my hair looks since first coming to Julia Lampard's and their use of more gentle products that she's planning on a visit to Guildford from Bristol where she now lives to have her hair done.

I had a wonderful experience at the salon! The stylist was super nice and skilful in colouring. It was my first time dyeing hair so I thought I would get it done in a salon and I could not have it any other way. My balayage turned out so natural and beautiful. Definitely would revisit again!

I always look forward to my appointments with Julia and team. You are always made to feel welcome & the salon is both relaxed and friendly. Both Julia and Hayley (colour) both take the time to talk and discuss what they think would work with hair and make sure I am happy with the results. It is refreshing to get that with every visit as in past at other salons I visited, there was a complacency in this area when I ceased to be a new client. I also love that pricing is very clear in regards to technical in terms of hair length so you are never surprised at the final cost. Looking forward to visiting your brand new salon when you've moved!

I went to Julia's salon with high hopes and the service I received exceeded them in every way. A charming welcome even when I turned up for my patch test promised good things. Now, after a leaiurely four hours in a gentle, friendly atmosphere, treated with consummate professionalism by everyone, I have a lovely new cut, exactly the colour I wanted, and the reassuring feeling I have found a salon I can stick with for many years to come. They really know their stuff here, treating every client with creativity and a real sense of care. Everyone comes out feeling better - a rare quality in an oversubscribed market where being treated as an individual is increasingly unusual. I had my awful, mid length blonde hair transformed into a rich auburn coloured, textured bob. Lillie is an amazing hair dresser. She listens, advises, and just knows and understands hair. I love my new look!!!

A small, friendly, peaceful salon just off of the busy High Street in Guildford. Staff are always polite and friendly the salon is clean, bright and tidy and having braved having my waist length hair cut short, I would not go anywhere else to have it kept "short and sharp".

I lost my hair due to chemo for my breast cancer and was very dubious about getting a wig. It's so great that you have an area which can be sectioned off for privacy as I was still coming to terms with my hair loss and really didn't want anybody else to see me.
Mariam was so understanding and offered me lots of great advice and showed me so many options. She was a star!!
I would recommend your salon to anybody who is in the same situation as me. Superb staff, great service and I came away with a wig that is so similar to my normal hair. Thank you so much for putting a smile back on my face again

Lovely staff, great haircut. It's always fun visiting Julie; we even manage to talk politics without falling out! I encourage everyone to give the salon a try - especially as there's a shiny new salon shortly!

Losing your hair is a pretty traumatic experience and choosing a wig could be. However, Mariam at Julia Lampard's salon is such a warm and welcoming person that it's really fun to find the right one with her expert help. She is very knowledgable about the stock and what will suit you and totally honest if it doesn't. I would definitely recommend going there for a consultation.
The next stage is to cut and personalise your choice of wig. Julia has so much experience, talent and patience that's once the wig is cut it really starts to look and feel like your own hair. You feel as if you've been given back yourself again. What more can I say? Thank you both for your help and understanding.

I've been a customer of Julia and her team for over 15 15 years now and although the team has changed a few times the friendly and relaxed atmosphere has always endured. Everyone at the salon makes me feel comfortable and good about my hair every time I visit!

Had to have some drastic help on my locks. Previous colour had gone terribly wrong and Lillie has done an amazing job with it! Cut is also very good. Friendly, professional staff and lovely salon. Lillie is very experienced and gave me the best advice. Nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely recommend, wouldnt want to go anywhere else now.

Visited Julia Lampard's salon this week for the first time for a consultation with Hayley. Stress has caused my hair to thin and was self-conscious when I walked in. Saw Hayley, Lillie, Mariam and Lauren today for my colour, cut and blow dry. I was made to feel very welcome, from Mariam's warm nature to Lauren's lovely tea to Hayley's perfection at colouring and Lillie's cut and blow dry. An excellent salon with staff who care and listen, tentative and above all non-judgmental and professional. I am looking forward to my next visit and to meet Julia too. Julia has cut my hair for nearly 25 years and her salon combines the utmost professionalism with a friendliness that makes you feel like one of the salon family. As a male client I feel just as welcome as my wife does. Julia's wig service is extraordinary; I know it can make a huge difference to morale for someone having a tough time with medical treatment. She has invented her own wig liner also which clearly makes the wearer much more comfortable. Julia is always moving forward professionally and has a fantastic team who work with her.

Julia has helped take away the anxiety of losing my hair. Great hair cut from Lilly. 100% attention

This is the second time I've had my hair done by Julia. When I first came in I had little confidence in my thinning hair, convinced id need a wig. But Julia sat me down and made me feel at ease and tried out a treatment for thinning hair on me. Now not only can I see baby hairs growing and I style I love. Everyone who works there are friendly aswell.

I am a regular customer at Julia Lampard's. Today I went in looking shaggy and came ou elegant, cool and rested. The cut is consistently brilliant and the service first class. Each customer is pampered individually, welcomed by name, styled with great care and consideration to make the best of what you have. An oasis of calm and style.

Following months of chemotherapy, surgery and radiotherapy I was finally enable to treat myself to a visit to the hairdressers to have my newly grown hair coloured. I am delighted with the results!

The tea was good and ****** was willing.
The quality of a technician cut does not match the price of £55- should have gone to another salon! Or get one at home for a half of the money. It was hot inside.
The web-site is out of date. No model cuts, also charge i was different to indicated.

Julia was extremely kind and professional and gave me a great haircut. Although my hair is still much shorter than I am used to she has styled it beautifully and I feel that at last I am over and done with my cancer treatment.

I went to the Julia Lampard salon for the first time on Friday. I had a hair cut and blow dry by Lillie who did a fantastic job! I'm so so happy with the cut and style. I had the pleasure of visiting Julia Lampard Hair Salon in Guildford today for what will be the first of many visits. I took the plunge and decided to have a complete new hair style and Julia completely embraced what I had in mind the cut is amazing I am so so pleased with it. Lillie took my colour to another level and an excellent blow-dry to finish. All the products used are so natural and the Salon itself is very friendly and relaxed thank you all.

I had decided I would like a more adventurous wig, now I am convinced that my alopecia is here to stay - my first wig was acquired mainly to make me feel "normal". Many thanks to Mariam who was very patient and we tried on many styles and colours before I made my final decision. I can't wait for my fitting!

An oasis of calm just off the centre of Guildford High Street, Julia and her staff create a warm, friendly atmosphere for their clients. Having had long hair for decades & not set foot in a hairdressers for equally as long I was quite frankly very nervous on my first visit. Julia helped me to decide on a style which would suit both me and my lifestyle and from the compliments I received it was obviously a good decision. I have now been using this salon regularly for the past few years and would recommend it highly.

I was so happy with my haircut today. A friend recommended Julia, s she knows how fussy I am. She did exactly what I asked for, which is strangely rare. Can't wait for my colour experience, next week.

Having to admit that you need to wear a wig is such a hard thing for any one (I have alopecia) but Julia's expertise, knowledge and help in choosing wigs has given me my confidence back. She cuts them to suit you and matches the colour to your skin tone. I have had many compliments from people who do not know I have to wear a wig, some asking me where I have had my hair cut/coloured. I have to travel a considerable distance but it is worth it.

If you need for any reason to look into wigs, I would VERY highly recommend that you give Julia a visit, you won't regret it.
