I saw Mariam last week, and picked up my wig on Tuesday. She was very helpful, and a delight to talk to, and made the whole experience very enjoyable. The wig is super and very easy to wear.

I feel that Julia, who I have known for many years, is not only a superb hairdresser, but in her maturity has broadened her outlook and equipped her salon to enable her to offer a wide range of hairdressing services and she now also offers a very caring and comprehensive service to anyone needing wigs for health reasons.

Julia and her staff are a treat to deal with. Everyone is friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. But, to the haircut. I was really impressed and delighted by the quality of the cut and I would encourage others to give the salon a try.

This was my first visit and I will definitely be a regular client. My appointment was with Lillie who really took the time to give me the right cut to suit my hair type. It was a nice relaxing environment and you really feel like you get the personal touch. The other clients in there obviously had been going there for years. Also there are no hidden costs, usually when I get to the till after an appointment at other salons the total is always a lot more than I expected. It is great value for money, I highly recommend.

Everyone at Julia Lampard is really lovely. I have never had my hair coloured before but wanted a blonde balayage in my long dark hair; I was really nervous about having it done but I absolutely didn't need to be. Hayley was lovely and listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me some good suggestions. She did a fantastic job and my hair turned out exactly as I wanted and the perfect shade of blonde. I'm really picky about getting my hair done but it's safe to say I've found my salon!

Excellent service, very personable and all friendly staff. Have used them for a restyle and highlights and was very pleased with the results so have used them continually since. The atmosphere within the salon is calm even when they are busy. Will definitely be sticking with Julia and her team! It is a hidden gem tucked away in the centre of Guildford!

Always feel so welcome when I get my hair cut. Lovely atmosphere, tucked away from the hubbub of the high street. Julia takes so much time and care with my cut and is always able to suggest something for the odd problem we all encounter from time to time - I always feel confident I am in a safe pair of hands. Her team are all relaxed and friendly, professional, yet unpretentious. Would highly recommend!

I found this wonderful salon via google as was looking for a wig whilst undergoing chemo. I was already losing my hair and went in for a consultation. Met with Maria and also Julia who work very closely together to ensure that every customer is 100% happy before they leave. Maria met me after I got a little lost outside the shop and made me straight away feel at ease. I ordered a wig which initially we thought would match my hair. Went back following week to have the fitting but advised that it wasn't right so both consultants took the time to find the correct one for me. Also my hair had been falling out and was matting (a side effect of chemo) and Julia with my permission clipped the hair short. She was very compassionate and it was all done privately behind a screen. Also I wasn't charged for this part which I thought was very kind. I wasn't rushed or made to feel bad for changing my mind about the original wig I ordered. I left with a wig which I would never have chosen initially

Lilli cut my hair with extreme presicion, sorting out an uneven mess left by my previous hairdresser. Really happy with the cut and will definitely be going back. Thank you

I came into this lovely lady's salon desperate for help as my 30 year old hair was thinning. Thinking I was past helping and needing a wig she gave me a fantastic cut and put some serum on that's supposed to bring on new hair growth. Plus she introduced me to some gorgeous volumising products. Now everyone compliments me. I will definately keep seeing her.

Needing to find a new hairdresser I passed this salon several times and decided to pop in for a consultation. They were immediately extremely friendly and welcoming. I booked an appointment to sort my hair out as it had been several months. What can I say Lillie was awesome! She did a full hair colour but also worked with my colouring and the results were fantastic. So pleased to have found a great salon

I went into this lovely lady's salon desperate for her help in my hair thinning problem. I was very nervous but I was soon put at ease. Within 5mins I felt like I'd been going there for years. She did me a beautiful cut that gave my hair body and introduced me to a lot of amazing products for it. Going to her has given me a confidence boost I needed. I strongly recommend her.

I came to visit Julia for the first time this week to buy a new wig. I have alopecia and am undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. I've been feeling pretty low as a result of this. Julia was such a genuinely lovely and caring person that I felt in really good hands. There was no judgement just passion to find the right wig for me. Julia said "your eyes tell me everything when you wear this wig" I agree! It's given me new confidence and I love it! Thank you!

Just a lovely experience, beautiful salon, friendly people and wonderful experience. My sister shaved her hair the day before and going to hospital with a headscarf really made her sad but JL just made this whole ordeal so much more bearable actually more than bearable. They gave my sister her dream hair and at such a reasonable price, they had one ready to take on the day styled it slightly and off she went. 5 min on the hight street and she was asked where did she get her hair done! She is so thrilled and cancer is now definitely defeated. Thank you JL x

Each time I go, the attention to detail is as good as if it were my first visit. The haircuts are always gorgeous (they listen to you and advise) and since I started having my hair coloured, the results are flawless and much attention is given to the condition of my hair. Just once have I experienced a very minor 'glitch' and that was sorted immediately, with good humour and no fuss. My daughter now travels back to Guildford to have her hair done at Julia's! I always look forward to my visits - that are a little oasis of calm in a welcoming, relaxed yet highly professional environment. Highly recommend a visit. Thanks Julia and her great team!

Julia Lampard's is a small salon, with a friendly atmosphere where you are assured of a great hair cut. You are pampered from the moment you arrive and Julia really listens to exactly what you want done with your hair. They have a great reminder system too with a text the day before your appointment. I can highly recommend a visit. Julia is an expert with wig fittings too.

Such a wonderful relaxing experience. Today I had a full head of highlights completed by Hayley and a cut and blow dry by Julia. At all times I felt at ease. Initially, Hayley spent time looking at the colour chart and a short discussion followed ensuring the result was what I wanted.
