Always a great haircut and attentive service here...not to mention the divine smelling Aveda products!

After nearly 11 years, still love this place. Wonderful coffee, friendly caring staff, great experience., and of course, a great cut!

It’s been a while since I visited Sands and I was delighted they could fit me in as I didn’t have an appointment and was desperately in need of a haircut. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience including the complimentary hand massage and I’m really happy with my hai I’ll Be back next week for highlights.

Sands is a joy. Starting with the complimentary head massage, friendly attentive staff, quality coffee/tea, hand and arm massage during styling ... Can't fault it. Yes, it is quite expensive, but worth every penny. A real treat.

Sands is an excellent salon with friendly welcoming personal service. Particular praise must go to Debbie who can’t be recommended highly enough. I wouldn’t want my haircut anywhere else.

It’s always a lovely relaxed atmosphere at Sands and staff cannot do enough for you. Jenny is really talented and gives good advice and always makes me feel at ease. I have found it hard in the past to find someone to do a good blonde but Jenny always gets it right and the Aveda products don’t seem to be as damaging on my hair. Thank you Jenny xxx

If you are seeking a holistic approach from a hair salon then look no further than SANDS. The care and attention the staff at this salon provides to its clients is second to none that I have experienced and at 53 I have experienced quite a few in my time. From the moment one enters the salon you are treated like a first class passenger plus the added bonus is that this salon only uses AVEDA products which are NOT tested on animals and are kind to the environment!!

Fab - was totally pampered with a nice head and arm massage. Carol was very attentive and I left the Salon feeling wonderful.

I recently had my hair cut at sands. The whole experience is a bit of a treat. The cut was really good and it felt great to be listened to by the stylist.

Every time you'll get a warm welcome, a drink and a hairdresser who knows what they are doing. You may even get a head massage and hand massage! Total pampering! Lovely & clean and a great atmosphere with very friendly staff!

Really lovely atmosphere and very relaxing expereience. Absolutely love my colour by Jasmin. Having previously badly damaged my hair bleaching, I was really happy with my full head of bleach highlights. My hair feels very soft and looks well nourished, whilst also achieveing the high lift, cool tone that I wanted to achieve. Jasmin made me feel very relaxed and at ease. Would definitely recommend.

Warm friendly atmosphere. Amazing staff and products. Offer of an express manicure for £10, a mince pie and a lovely scalp massage. Love my hair.

I had a wonderful cut, and overall experience at Sands. They went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and pampered- offering a head massage on arrival and a hands and arms massage whilst getting my hair cut. I was very impressed with the stylist (Carrie)- I came out with exactly what I had wanted, and she made the extra effort to trim split ends all the way up my (long) hair. My hair was also styled beautifully. I’ll definitely be going back!
