All staff so friendly, lovely cup of tea and head massage. 5* . Booked again for next week

Love this salon - lovely staff and always made comfortable.

This was my second visit to Sands Salon, and once again Sarah styled my hair beautifully — I’m always so pleased with the result!
What really stood out to me this time was seeing the exceptional care the whole team showed towards a wheelchair user in the salon. The blonde-haired lady on reception was particularly thoughtful. When taking her payment, she sat down so they were at the same eye level — such a simple but respectful touch, avoiding the need to lean over her. She also helped with the door when leaving.
It was genuinely lovely to see such thoughtful, inclusive service. The team really went the extra mile, showing that accessibility, dignity and kindness matter.

I felt really comfortable with Sarah - I’d never met her before- I’m not a regular visitor to the hairdressers and she took great care, it was a lovely experience

Very happy with Jasmine she was very efficient.

Had my last hair done on 20th August by the lovely Ian and had another one done today, have to say Ian took into account what i wanted and did exactly what I had planned, 5 stars all around and staff are very lovely will be returning

I had my hair cut by Ian today , and i must say it was one of the best haircut ive had Ian took his time and paid incredible attention to detail , the salon had a lovely vibe and all the staff were super friendly i’m definitely going back again

The whole team work so well at Sands, making every visit a pleasure. My highlights were done by Ceri ably assisted by Jazz and the result was perfect; really well judged and blended in.

I’ve been visiting Sands for over a decade and have found staff to be caring, friendly and helpful. Beni has always helped me to find the shade and styles that suit me. I trust her knowledge and expertise 100%. I look forward to my appointments as a time to relax and enjoy being spoilt for a few hours whilst my hair is transformed.

As usual, another skilled and precise cut from Alex, but it’s more than that. From the point of opening the door, you have such a warm and friendly welcome from both Alex and the lovely Josh on the desk. Such a lovely salon, all the staff are really pleasant and you feel welcome and valued. Thank you all for making my visits such a pleasure.

Had a wonderful experience today at sands. The graduate stylist called liv was wonderful and professional at all times Was offered refreshments and also hand and arm massage which was delightful As I was leaving was asked if I like to rebook which was excellent for me as I booked up to Christmas can’t wait to come back And enjoy the hole experience again 👍

I'm quite a nervous person, but as soon as I walk into Sands Hairdressing I feel welcome by all staff and am pleasantly greeted with smiles and a complementary drink that just adds a little touch of love.

Kayse in particular is always warm and genuine and she helps me sort out my thin hair even after I have tried to cut my fringe myself (whoops!).

Even though it is a hint of a financial splurge for me to get a hair cut here, the fact that I can come in for free fringe adjustments whenever I feel I need one makes the splurge extra worth it.

Sands is fantastic! From the moment you walk through the door, you’re welcomed into such a calm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere. All the staff are lovely and so welcoming.

I’ve been going to Sands for over 13 years, and Beni has been cutting and colouring my hair for many of those years. She is brilliant and I always leave feeling fantastic.

I also love the Aveda products and the ethos behind the salon. It really is the perfect place to switch off, relax and enjoy a couple of hours of being looked after.

I honestly can’t recommend Sands highly enough!

A strange review as I have yet to visit salon ! Each time I book an appointment for my son they are friendly, efficient and professional. My son is always very happy with the cut and service .

Once again another wonderful roots colour and curl finish by Stuart. I have very thick hair but nothing phases Stuart - always patient, chatty, skilful and nothing is too much trouble.

I received a warm welcome from Sands Staff. My hair wash was very thorough using Aveda products. Best of all Ceri cutting my hair. A lovely lady. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. I came away from the Salon with a five star haircut. Rejuvenated!

Absolutely wonderful salon — gorgeous colour, top‑quality cuts, and a beautiful location. A real treat for me to relax and unwind.

Coffee and a cold drink on arrival followed by the best hair wash/head massage by Ian. Then on to Alex for a great haircut/blowdry, the haircut is exactly what I wanted. Lovely way to spend a bit of time on a very hot day.
