The hairdresser that cut my hair carol was lovely all so lady on reception made me feelse really well come and relaxed was so pleased with hair cut made my next opontment and had a 5 pound discount on next cut was so pleased

After having a bad haircut done by a friend. I would highly recommend John he did a lovely job on sorting my hair. All the team were friendly and covid clean.

I REALLY like the style---- but it took SOOO long --just for a cut!!!! -2HRS PLUS-- sooo mch chatter!!!! Twas a nice surprise to be seen immediately!

I had my hair washed, cut, and styled by Debbie and assistant. I am so pleased with the results. My daddy says I look just like Grace Kelly :) I liked having my hair washed by a professional.

Everyone wore masks and visors and I felt very safe. The girls were very kind and friendly.

Fed up with my long ‘lockdown’ hair, I opted for a drastic change and decided to have it all chopped off.

I hadn’t visited this particular salon before but after reading a few of the 900+ 5* reviews I trusted that I would be in good hands and I wasn’t disappointed.

Stu talked me through a few options and even gave me a few opportunities to change my mind and go for something less drastic. I went ahead anyway and I’m so glad I did. I got exactly what I asked for. A short cut with the flexibility to style it in many different ways and the colour is lovely too.

I feel 10 years younger and so much lighter after getting rid of all that dead weight. I will definitely be visiting this salon more often in the future.

John has done the most amazing job of my hair - I had highlights plus a cut and blow dry and it looks lovely.
Its a really friendly and relaxing atmosphere in Sands and definitely the best hairdressers I have ever been to. The staff make you feel so welcome and I really can’t recommend them enough.

I would totally recommend Kaye. She fixed the mess I made of my daughters lock down hair cut. My daughter loved her new style and was bouncing all the way home.

Jasmin was fantastic, a great cut (from waist to shoulder length). Exactly what I asked for with tweaks to suit my hair type. Very happy with the result. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Excellent COVID precautions in place. Definitely recommend.

Today was my first time at Sands after moving to Cardiff in January and I had such a wonderful experience! Ceri and Jasmine both took great care of me and I feel like a new person thanks to the gorgeous cut and colour. Can’t wait to visit again!

Beni was very professional!! After not having my hair cut for more than a year, Beni did exactly what I wanted! Definitely coming back.

It was a lovely relaxing experience and Jasmin is always so friendly. Only one thing that can be improved i’d say is to get a breakdown of costs. I purchased some products too and so have no idea how much the cut/colour was and seemed expensive overall.

Sands is a special salon where I can switch off and focus on me! It’s where all my hair needs are taken care of to a very high standard.
It is Covid safe, friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
Ceri is my stylist and I trust her to do her best for me. We always have a conversation about how best to cut and colour my hair. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

The salon has really worked hard to make the experience as friendly as possible given all the covid measures they have had to put in place. Wonderful experience as always, all friendly and chatty and a great stylist in Beni.
