I was very nervous when I came to the salon first the first time today. I’d had had a few terrible experiences in other salons. I shared this with Siobhan and she was really understanding and showed great care throughout my time with her. I left feeling understood, looked after and with a wonderful bob. At 75 years old and living with a disability, visiting a hair salon can sometimes feel a little daunting — but my experience today was nothing short of wonderful. From the moment I walked through the door, I was treated with such kindness, patience, dignity, and genuine care.

I honestly can’t recommend this salon enough. I hadn’t been to a proper hairdressers in years, so I was quite nervous walking in—but from the moment I arrived, I was made to feel completely at ease and genuinely cared for.
My boyfriend had booked me in for a pamper session to help me take some time for myself and rebuild my confidence, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. I had a full consultation beforehand, where everything—from colour to cut—was discussed in detail. I really felt listened to, which made such a difference.
Alex was absolutely brilliant. Every step of the process was explained to me, and I was looked after so well throughout (I genuinely lost count of how many cups of tea I drank!). The end result was incredible—I walked out feeling like a million pounds and at least ten years younger.
The look on my boyfriend’s face when he picked me up said it all. I can’t thank Alex enough for such a lovely experience—I’m already looking forward to my next appointment!
