Jess was amazing, she has been doing my hair for a while now. I currently have a hair loss problem and she brushed it really carefully and checked out products she was going to use on it. Am very happy, always a good and professional experience at Toney and guy in oxford! She sold me some lovely leave in conditioner too. Thank you Jess your a star!!

I booked a natural glossing online with Jess at £37 and was asked to pay £57 as I checked out. When I stated my surprise, the excuse given was that “more product was used” but at no point during the process was I informed of a change of price. I think this approach to pricing is dishonest and unworthy of a brand like Tony and Guy.

I have booked an appointment through the app at 17.45 for an haircut plus blow-dry. I have been served at 17.55 while most of the workers were leaving work. I have then checked on the website and found out that the shop was going to close at 18.15!!! I cannot understand why the appointment was available on the app as they should dedicate 1 hour to each customer. I have curly hair so for the haircut they had to spend a good 25 minutes, for this reason as they wanted to close as soon as possible (it was already 18.20 and there was no time for the blow dry), they had the great idea of using the diffuser. The diffuser??? 4 minutes, done! I use the diffuser at home but from a famous place like Tony and Guy I was expecting a better service. The haircut is fine but I am sorry, NEVER ANYMORE. The director was there when I paid my bill at 18.29 not worried at all about the service offered just happy to take my money and go home.

Alesha is consistently helpful, courteous and accommodating (apologies if incorrect spelling of name) and the exemplary level of skill and vision of Laura (L.C). They are an asset to the Oxford salon.

I had my hair cut by Chris for the first time last week. He interpreted what I wanted really well and listened to me. I feel my hair has been well cut and I am very happy with the result.

Paige was extremely welcoming. I have always been nervous when visiting salons, for years I used barbers shops as that is an entirely different experience. She does her job with economy and efficiency and is a very good addition to the team at Toni and Guy.

I saw Billie at T&G Oxford after having been to a different salon that had put the wrong colours on my hair in the hope someone may be able to help me. Billie was amazing, my hair had to go slightly lighter first before being able to go back to the normal colour due to the error from the other salon but Billie did a fantastic job and I am already booked in for my next appt with her. I would highly recommend this salon. They were very professional and knowledgable and Billie is a great colourist.

Nice hair wash followed by excellent styling that has lasted the whole weekend.

Great haircut as usual but £75 for a balding man is steep. I will keep it under review but will call it a day at some stage and sooner due to cost.

Excellent as always

When I was making my appointment, I had been reassured that In the absence of L.C (Colour Director), I had been booked with someone as experienced as her to do my hair.but on arrival I realised I had only been put with a 2 year experienced colour technician. (who was a very sweet girl), Right from the beginning I realised I had been lied to, but had no other choice as I was travelling a couple of days after that. To cut a long story short, my appointment took 3.5 hours, and at the end of the day I came out with a blondish hair, which I have never liked, a white, small, uncoloured patch right above my forehead, and no way to fix and add the base dark colour in between. Actually mid way, realising that **** does not know how to continue, I suggested I help her (as having put the foils, she was still doing the roots of the rest of my hair with the darker tint, whereas I had specifically asked for a full head tint), but she kept on insisting they never do the highlights with the full head tint, and if anytime I want the highlights and the rest of the head with darker colour, I should take two different appointments and pay extra for the service. Where as being a Tony and Guy customer for about 25 years, in Camberley, I knew very well that that was not the case. In short, the outcome was not at all what I had asked for. In reality, this was my worst salon experience ever.

I came in for a head bleach and cut. The colour didn’t turn out to be as white as it should of been. So my stylist Jaime stepped in ( after all the colourists had gone home !)and offered to bleach my hair as he has just trained to be a colourist. Working until 8pm with the help of Aleisha. Thank you so much you two . Total commitment to Toni and Guy and your customers! Also thank you for the refreshments! See you soon and I hope you get paid over time for staying! Excellent result !

Toni & Guy is really welcoming salon in Oxford. Page was very friendly and attentive to my needs while I waited for my stylist Maryam. The haircut is perfect. She always makes it look so flattering and the cut and layers make it look styled even if I don’t have time to give my hair the attention a salon treatment gives you.

I love the hair stylist, everything is perfect except for Alisha the receptionist, Disrespectful and arrogant, she knows that I am repeating customer and that every time i come my apple pay is not working only on your machine, and i ask her to communicate to your IT to resolve, last time she acted as if she doesn’t know me or the issue and when am about to leave she said i want proof of signature, called her manager and stopped me for some time, acted like police in the most horrible way, your salon is amazing but this lady ruined the experience

Have had Paige do my hair twice now - once a trim and style, and the second time to style my hair for graduation as I was so happy with the results the first time! Paige was very positive, friendly and efficient. She took extra care to make sure my curled hair would last for a few days, and I was delighted with the look. Was nervous about getting my hair cut outside of Asia/with a stylist who may be unfamiliar with Indian hair, but Paige was absolutely fantastic and I have no complaints.

Laura is fantastic! Service is always excellent and Laura is very client focused. Friendly and always involves you in the service and ensures you can say what you would like and expect. I have always been very pleased with how my hair looks after my treatment. I have been going to Toni and Guy for many years, I highly recommend this salon and Laura. Staff are friendly. I definitely would not go anywhere else! Thank you Laura!

I’ve been looking for a new stylist for ages with no joy. Then by chance I got a last minute appt with Lauren. What a star! Great conversation, very personable, and best of all she gave me a perfect haircut!!!

Bit overdue for a trim and couldn’t ask for a better cut or nicer team than the Oxford crew. Welcoming from the door opening and nice to see the salon back to normal again… special mention to LC for a great haircut and congratulations on the fab news too. Back again in a while.
