Apart from the extraordinary talent and high level of competency in their art, S&B is a customer focused salon with a friendly atmosphere and comfortable environment. Charlotte - who has just officially been promoted to stylist - rescued my hair with highlights and a cut today. She really listened to what I wanted and delivered. I’m chuffed with the result! I have been coming here for years, Craig is a phenomenal stylist and Destiny a genius with colour. Relaxed and informal atmosphere I never leave disappointed!

I was nervous about trying a new hairdresser after a bad experience elsewhere. Jess did a great cut, reassured me loads and really listened. Worth every penny. Highly recommended :)

As usual my visit today was great. I would like to use a Coco Chanel quote. "Fashion fades style remains" this sums up Sutherland & Barnett. A beautifully stylish hair cut and the coffee is great!

As well as a fab haircut, I got the best coffee, restaurant recommendations, and car park validation. All of the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Such a nice environment

Brilliant service as always!

The whole experience from discussing style, cut and what works for me was excellent. The massage chairs were so good and certainly relaxing.

Relaxing atmosphere and professional but friendly service. Nowhere better in nottingham.

Lots of people comment on my hair and how much they like both the cut and the colour. Craig is a brilliant stylist. He listens and offers different ideas to achieve what I want. The cut is so good I can wash and leave it to dry most days and it still looks grear. The whole salon experience is so relaxing.

As always I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Everyone is so friendly and professional. A visit to the salon is always a highlight for me!

Brilliant as ever!

Every aspect of this salon is wonderful from the friendly receptionist, the style of the salon and my brilliant stylist, Jess. Am always complimented on my hair, even when it's ready for another cut can't recommend highly enough.

This man knows a lot about styling!! Never fails to have me leaving the salon loving my hair. Today, he gave me a super cool crop that revived my colour and made me feel ready for the weekend.

Another brilliant visit with the end results on my hair being amazing.

It was my first time meeting Andrew today and felt completely at ease with him and confident in trusting his advise and expertise. The experience wasn’t rushed, I was listened to and most importantly left the salon happy with the end result! Receptionist, sorry not sure of her name is always so lovely and helpful too as was the young lady who expertly washed my hair!

I’ve been having my hair highlighted, cut and styled at S&B for almost 8 years now. Andrew, Hannah and Kirsty know me and my curly-haired quirks quite well now! They are always most professional but still personable and genuinely interested in how I am and what I’d like doing with my hair. The whole team there are amazing- so friendly, so helpful and so attentive. Tea on tap, and they even pay towards your car parking! Clients are so well-looked after and the stylists are all talented, well-trained and very professional. It’s such a wonderful salon- impeccable service, high ends products and faultless finishes every time - would highly recommend any of the stylists there! My teenage daughter also loves S&B and insists that she has Kate to cut her hair every time. Thank you S&B for looking after me again today! :)

As always I had a great experience with Sutherland and Barnett from being greeted by name at the door by Amber. Hayley has been cutting my hair for years but as she is soon leaving, I had Natalie cut my hair today. I'm really happy with the cut and Natalie herself and have booked my next appointment with her. I can't recommend S&B highly enough!

Went to visit my second family again today , at Sutherland & Barnett, from Hannah , my lovely hair colour and a truly wonderful haircut from Craig again , always slightly different each time , both are amazing .

Love my colour by Hannah, she’s always so lovely and friendly. Craig was brilliant and managed to fit me in for a cut as well, which I love.

Left the salon feeling great as usual, having had a colour and cut. My hair looks fab, super shiny and styled just the way I like it. As always, the staff do everything to make sure you have a pleasant and relaxing time - from refreshments to relaxing massage chairs at the wash stations. I’m sad to say goodbye to Hayley, but excited for the next stage in her life and I already know I’ll be in great hands with Hannah and Craig for my next appointment.
