Every time I sit down with Shannon she works her magic and I'll never understand how she does it! She's a highly skilled stylist with a real eye for detail and a creative flair. She understands my unique style and really enhances it by making my hair a reflection of my personality! It takes a lot of care and attention to do something like that. She also is quick but thorough and she is really interesting and funny!

It's like visiting best friends with the added benefit of leaving with a great style!,

2nd time at saks, hexham. Always a consistently lovely service from every single person there, and all of the staff however go the extra mile to make sure you are well looked after. They talk through with what you would like done and guide you through what will work well. Loved my appointment with jess yesterday, good craic, and an amazing hairdresser who really knows her stuff. Even though I was held up in traffic I was greeted with a smile and a coffee. The high standard of service never fails and my hair raises compliments even from total strangers.

A relaxing experience with pleasant stylists.

Andrea and the team always go over and above, making each visit feel like a special event. Not only are they extremely talented stylists with hands down the best customer service, Andrea has created a wonderful atmosphere for her clients while also truly nurturing her staff. After moving to the north east over 20years ago I’ve tried many, many salons - Saks Hexham is head and shoulders above the rest, I’ve finally found my place!

Advises and ask what I think,
Staff are always friendly and sociable
Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Shannon is brilliant — creative with colour and great at matching it to my skin tone. She told me to trust the process and I’m thrilled with the result. Amy’s head massage was amazing too. You’re in safe hands!

As usual, an amazing experience! I don’t have my hair cut & coloured often. But, Emma was amazing as always. She gave great advice regarding my hair’s condition following thyroid surgery.
I will be back, despite moving to the Isle of Man. I wouldn’t trust my hair with any other salon! Everyone is just lovely & very talented!

I just love going to Saks hairdressers every other Wednesday. They are always so cheerful and pleasant and the service I get is excellent. I was someone who would only go when needed to get my hair done now I go regularly and just love the experience every time. They are a great bunch of girls and I look forward to my visits. Absolutely thrilled with our experience at SAKS Hair Salon in Hexham! From the moment we walked in, the team were warm, welcoming, and completely focused on making my 9-year-old daughter feel special. They treated her with such care and attention, chatting to her like a little grown-up while still keeping everything fun and relaxed.

The stylist did a wonderful job with her hair — she left beaming, feeling like a princess, and hasn’t stopped talking about it since! It’s not easy to find a salon that gets it just right with children, but SAKS nailed it. The whole experience was thoughtful, professional, and full of those little touches that make all the difference.

Can’t recommend them highly enough — we’ll definitely be back!

Best cut I've had since moving to Hexham

As the title says, "Excellent as always". Been a customer at Saks Hexham for many years now. The advice and professionalism these hairdressers have are second to none. Friendly atmosphere which you don't often get in many hairdressers.
