I have had Matthew as my hairstylist for getting on for 15 years. He has safely and stylishly seen me through a variety of hairstyles- long , short, undercut. As well as a range of colours including reds, brunettes and blonds.
He always listens carefully to what I would like. These are usually just vague ideas as I know nothing about hair cutting. He is confident to take these ideas and talk me through what he suggests to come to a desired outcome together. I trust him completely to work with my awkward wavy hair and produce something appropriate and flattering for my face, my personal style and my age.
From time to time over the years I have had to visit other hairdressers - some have been better than others - but I don't think any of them have been as good as Matthew. So much so, I now travel from Scotland to Lancaster just to see him and will do so as long as Matthew is available! Very highly recommended.
At Jo and Cass everyone is trained well to be friendly and helpful, from the receptionists to the juniors who wash your hair. So it's always a pleasure to go there.

My daughter loved getting her haircut! Ellie was really friendly and I think it’s great that there is a separate studio for children that is less busy.

Had tints and shimmers with Hannah snd wanted it done differently in the tints and Hannah knew exactly what I meant and has done my hair perfectly I absolutely love it.
Graham then cut it and the cut has always by Graham turn out brilliantly.
Al in all a fantastic day. Fantastic outcome.

I only came in for a wash and trim but Mia had a cancellation so after telling her I couldn't decide whether to go back dark or have my roots done, she helped me to decide to have a beliage. She realy was a lovely girl.

As usual I was looked after to the point of being spoilt! Lovely friendly girls who couldn’t do enough for me! Lovely coffees a big pile of new magazines, and a wonderful catch up with Danielle! On top of that my hair looks fabulous! Danielle keeps my hair looking like I’m a natural blond! It’s shiny and immaculately cut. Couldn’t be happier!

Lyndsey has been cutting my hair on a regular basis for years. She consistently does a brilliant job. She is skilful, professional, considerate and so easy in her manner.
A lovely lady inside and out.

This was my first visit to Jo & Cass Lancaster and Paige coloured & cut my hair. I wanted to go quite light from medium/dark brown and didn’t know how achievable this would be. Paige gave me lots of really helpful advice and I achieved a colour I didn’t think I could in one sitting. Paige really took a lot of time & care during my appointment & I’m really delighted with my result. After the colour I had a cut which topped off a great experience. (The massage chair was also a pleasant bonus). It’s nice to go to a salon and have a “salon experience” with a really good colourist & stylist. This was my first visit & it surpassed all of my expectations. I’ve booked in for another colour & cut in 8 weeks w/Paige. The reception staff are also amazing.

I always go back to lois for my hair, however my hair is when I come in she’s so quick and skilled in making it look fantastic. She’s so good that my mum also only goes to Lois and is getting her friends to go to her too. The hospitality at Jo and Cass is also always so good, with friendly staff always checking if you need anything.

I felt very relaxed as soon as I walked through the door. Very friendly & helpful staff. Chloe was excellent doing my nails & easy to chat with.

First time visiting the salon, my daughter had a wash, cut & blow dry with Mia, she really enjoyed every part of her pamper :) Mia was friendly and helpful and nothing was to much bother. We look forward to our next visit.

As always, a fantastic experience. She is always knowledgeable, happy to advise and just so lovely. She’s been doing my hair for a number of years and I’d always recommend her!
