Before Jo & Cass I’d never been a repeat customer at any salon because I’d never found the right one. However, I’ve been a customer with Jo & Cass for several years now, always with Lois, and would never change! Lois never fails to make you feel like her only customer, is always bright and bubbly, and knows exactly what will look and feel good. The salon itself is a dream and puts so much effort into constantly improving, and the little extras like the massage chairs and projector make it extra top quality. Always a great experience and I’d never go anywhere else!

I love coming to get my hair done by Toyah. She’s always super positive and great to chat to. I love that she not only does my hair the way I want it but she offers her professional opinion too which I think is really important, as not all shades/colours/cuts suit everyone. Services by Toyah are always 110%.
The only thing I would say is that this time for my visit the the massage chairs were not working which was a shame and also the head massage I was given (not by Toyah) wasn’t very good. I must admit that other than wanting to go to Jo and Cass for great end results, I do pick the place by how relaxing it is, as i don’t get a lot of time to myself, and head massages/massage chairs are important to me. (Especially if you’re spending 20-30minutes there waiting for toner/getting a treatment). Also I believe the area where they wash the hair is supposed to be super relaxing and young members of staff chatting behind your head and giggling away isn’t really it. I do appreciate it’s important to have fun at work but I think if they do want to chat and giggle it would be more respectful to the clients to do it elsewhere. (Especially if they are just sitting and waiting for clients treatment time to end and not actually doing anything).

I'm a regular with Faye for colour and always received a friendly and professional experience. It's a pleasure coming into the Salon, with Steph and team on reception- always with a welcoming smile and conversation. Its my 'wind down' on a Friday afternoon - l always look forward to the experience.

Always lovely to spend a couple of hours at the salon, getting great advice and hair care from Rachel, as well as a lovely chat.

This was my first time having my hair cut and coloured by Holly. I am really impressed. Adored what she did with the colour and a few tweaks on the style. Even the texture of my hair was different i.e. Not frizzy. Will definitely book with Holly again.

She is always so friendly, helpful and encouraging! She is fantastic!!!

Hannah and Graham always do my tints and shimmers Cut and blow and I'd never have anyone else in my opinion they are the best. Plus Graham has been cutting my hair for well over 20 yrs now. He's fabulous.

I think Lois shines at her Balliage,She can get them so natural and fine. This time we actually took it more then normal to blend the greys that are coming think and fast. But she blends it all together so well,Love it 😘🙌🏻

Professional as always

Lois was amazing. I really loved how engaged she was and she gave me a great haircut. Thank you. Unfortunately the massage chair and foot rest wasn’t working and there was no power in the hair wash area, so no music and projector on. Sadly this spoilt the experience as this is usually one of my favourite parts. It felt like not good value for money as this experience was rushed and had zero atmosphere. This of course was no Lois’ fault but I think I should have been offered a reduced cost for this lack of experience.

The colour that I was advised to have worked very well and I amp,eased with it.

Made to feel most welcome- although due to parking issues, I was approx 10 mins late - i not made to feel guilty by anyone. David, made the hour plus fun and talked through the cut and finish.
It was a lovely to walk out with a great cut and finish - lifted my spirits. Thank tobDavid and the team

Hannah is my go to stylist as I am always 100% happy with my cut - today I also had a colour and highlights which Hannah supervised and monitored throughout - Hannah is friendly knowledgeable professional and I have every confidence I’ll be looked after and be happy with the results - already booked my next appointment 5 stars

Went in for my twice yearly balayage with Lois and felt that I wanted to try a lightly warmer tone of blonde to look a bit more natural, and Lois nailed it again, kept lots of my natural colour blended through it and a super soft root blend into my own root and the colour is perfect, so happy with it and such a lovely relaxing appointment, well looked after and feeling like a new woman! Thank Lois x

Hayley at Lancaster was lovely as always and my hair cut was beautiful as always.

I've been having my hair done at Jo and Cass for approximately 12 years. It's always a pleasure to visit everyone is so welcoming and it's a beautiful salon. Hayley is my stylist and she has seen me through many a cut and colour transformation! She is a fabulous cutter of hair ( mine is short and she is the best! ) I receive lots of compliments about my hair so I know others can see what a good job she does. All in all a great salon great staff and decent value for money.

Danielle is so skilled that she can highlight an touch up roots to give a naturally blond look. My hair looks amazing! The staff are all so friendly and nothing is too much trouble!

I was nervous, transferring to a new salon after 30 years (of and on) with my current salon, which is now closing down. Steph made me feel at ease from the onset. Hannah, was lovely. Her professionalism and helpful, positive attitude, enabled me to understand the process of colour and cut in relation to my present (not) hair style and what I wanted as an outcome. Hannah's proactive, approach in suggesting techniques which would suit my, face, eyebrows and complection, also made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The result, is great.
