Love visiting Jo & Cass, great atmosphere and excellent coffee. The service from the juniors is also great, you can tell they’re trained in what they’re doing and also how to provide great service to clients.

I had an early start to attend a family event, David came in early and ensured I was out on time. My hair was perfect and I felt great.

I have been to the salon before and been happy with the experience.

This time was an unhappy experience. The stylist appeared shocked that I wanted my hair colouring, with his face instantly dropping, despite me having booked for a full head of highlights. He immediately called to an apprentice saying he would need their help doing it as I had too much hair. My hair is thick, but it is only above my shoulders in length.

Although I had booked for a full head, he said to only do 3/4, and I felt as though this was because he did not want to do more than that. I showed him photos of the style and colour I wanted. He did not show me the colour he was going for, I trusted his opinion and that he would follow the images I had shown him. Then when applying the colour he said my hair is lighter than it first looked. This miscalculation became apparent when washing the dye out he exclaimed it was a lot brighter than expected. I had specifically said that I didn’t want a white blonde yet it did come out more white-ish.

He then said he would put a toner in, in order to reduce the brightness. I was not aware that this would cost me an extra £15, and since this was not explained to me and due to the colour coming out other than planned, this felt unfair.

A client arrived for a cut as my dye was being washed out and I then had to wait for him to do that before my cut. The cut was disappointing, with not enough weight taken out of the back, and some parts left uncut, leaving me having to cut some ends at home.

I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable, as if I were a nuisance, despite having booked the appropriate services. I was also unhappy with the result and I definitely will not be returning.

I love coming to the salon to have my hair done. The whole experience from start to finish is exceptional. The reception staff greet you with a smile and are very accommodating. Lynsey and Danielle are stunning and I always leave feeling like a million dollars. The junior staff are delightful and friendly. Graham is usually about and always makes the time to say ‘hello’ and ensure your customer experience is second to none. Fantastic salon ; amazing staff and stunning customer service.

Wow! Just wow! My salon experience was one of the best I’ve had. I left the salon walking on sunshine! Hannah gave me the most amazing root touch up, shimmers and a cut - it made me feel like me again.! She always takes the time to produce a look that makes me feel confident. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

The young lady, Sienna (so sorry sweetie if I’ve spelled it incorrectly), who shampooed my hair was so lovely - and confident. She sure knew what she was doing - making sure all the tint was removed and a good shampoo. She also gave a fabulous head message. Thank you Sienna for giving me such fabulous treatment.

This was one of the best massages that I have ever had. Ruby was awesome - she found tension and knots in places that I didn’t even realise could be tense. She used the perfect amount of pressure. It was absolutely amazing. I will definitely be booking in with her again.
