I had my nails done by zoe today and she was so welcoming and chatty , i had a great hot chocolate and her nail work was perfect , lovely salon environment definitely reccomend x

A BIG thank you to Jamie for restyling my hair, which hadn’t been cut for about 6 months. He listened to what I wanted and gave me a wonderful cut and blowdry, which I love… thank you! It was my first visit to Mettyear’s and what a gorgeous salon it is. So calm and spacious. See you in 8 weeks!

A guaranteed pick me up. Every time I have been to the salon not only have I come away with a fabulous haircut but also feeling 100 better.

Was treated to a spa for 2 voucher and chose Mettyears. Easy to find, cosy spa. Enjoyed hydrotherapy pool and relaxing massage plus afternoon tea. Great service, friendly reception. Suggested improvements - lockers for valuables plus more comfortable seating in cafe for afternoon tea. All good though.

Staff are lovely, we were running a few minutes late and they were very understanding. Loved the hydrotherapy pool, my partner suffers with back pain and said it really helped.

The facilities were lovely and clean and we were given water to keep us hydrated.

My only negatives are, the spa doesn’t have any parking facilities which made the experience slightly stressful to begin with. However, there is a long stay car park that you can pay to park close by.

The massage was nice, although the choice of music in the therapy room wasn’t very relaxing. It was very fast and I felt like I should have been getting ready for a night out. This did unfortunately affect how relaxed I could get throughout my session. However, my partner said the music in his room was nice and relaxing.

All together, a lovely afternoon.

Jamie knows me well and knows how I like my hair. It makes my appointment a lot easier. He did a fab job as he always does.

Love my new colour,not what I would have gone for ,but with guidance from KatieJoiner ( apprentice) I love love love it !!! Usually just go for blonde highlights ,but this time we went with some copper undertones,this inturn brighted up my eyes and give my skintone a much brighter appearance, not wash out look .

Callum was an absolute gem from start to finish! Cannot recommend him enough, he made me feel so comfortable throughout and gave me the best haircut I’ve had for a damn long time!!

Having had all sorts of massages, chiropractor, and osteopath appointments in the past for my dodgy back, I got a recommendation to see Becci.

Wow. She listened to what I was struggling with and then proceeded to really go to work on my knots. She isn't afraid to get stuck in and offered to go softer if needed. I feel great 2 hours after my visit and although I'm likely to be sore tomorrow, I'll definitely be back. Thanks Becci.

Lovely massage in a very comfortable environment. Nicely heated bed, but no offer of bolsters or pillows for my legs.

Really great experience. Would definitely do it all again.

Claire was lovely, friendly and very professional. She did a great job and my only criticism would be that the treatment room we used was really cold. I was having a few bits done and was in there for a couple of hours - I left feeling frozen 🥶

Had a pregnancy massage booked for my Christmas present, was a bit nervous as never had one but I had an extremely lovely massage Therapist (sorry forgot her name) she was so lovely and made me feel very welcome and relaxed.Left there feeling like a new women. Would recommend any pregnant women to have one & especially at Mettyear’s!Thank you so much :)
