Mettyear's

This was a very relaxing, calm experience in a nice, private room. The treatment was most enjoyable and my nails look holiday ready. Claire is clearly very experienced, highly qualified, easy to talk to and certainly puts one at ease. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

I resisted joining the blow dry club for a while but was booking one every so often with Callum anyway so I ended up taking the plunge. I don’t know why I resisted, I love it!! I am so lazy with my own hair but when styled properly it really lasts. Absolutely worth it. Thanks Callum.

They’ve clearly thought hard about the space once you’re in, bright and buzzy, modern and faux foliage. A drinks fridge was a nice touch. The pedi I had was good, therapist lovely and friendly. Not many non-gel options at all but as I always go for red I was fine.
A few things I’d feedback on - it doesn’t feel like a spa - in my eyes anyway - as the buzzy atmosphere is too frenetic- not relaxing like spas are. Treatments rooms were probably there but that doesn’t make a spa, more a salon, which is fine.
Finding it was tricky within the industrial estate but there were works going on so maybe they were missing a sign - my satnav took me into units further on and I had to call, (take the first right by the counselling place) Being on an industrial estate isn’t ideal from a spoil-yourself vibe but it gives them space which, when you’re inside is nice.
I probably wouldn’t go back as I like the whole experience to be spa-like and for similar pricing I’d go elsewhere, but there was nothing wrong with it as such, professional, clean etc.

Went for consultation with Sharon after being at a salon that ruined my hair style.

Sharon was great and honest and fitted me in . She definitely put right the wrongs.

I experienced high level of customer and expertise service when I visited today having my nails, face, and hair done. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming and made you feel at home. I would go there again for everything.

I would recommend everyone to visit this spa and hair and beauty, you will not regret it.

I absolutely love Mettyear’s. I’ve been going there for quite a few years now. The new salon is super swanky! The recliner chairs at the basins are the best!! Amy is a legend, she always makes my hair look a million dollars! She works her magic everytime. Cannot recommend her enough! The whole salon experience is fab-U-Lous!

I found the salon just by chance on a Google search. I booked online, it was very easy and straight forwardbooking system. I had waxing done by Becci who made me feel very at ease, really friendly and upbeat. She did a great job and she made my experience really comfortable. I will definitely be using this salon in the future.

For one reason or another, it had been a while since visiting Mettyears. A last minute waxing appointment was needed so I saw Becky for the first time. Arriving at the new site was easy and great to have parking outside. The salon is stunning! Spacious, clean and aesthetically beautiful. Checked in and sat upstairs in the waiting area watching all the action. Becky greeted me as if we had met before making the whole ordeal less daunting. We chatted away during my appointment and due to the wax she used, there was little pain. A great experience and it made me regret not going back to Mettyears sooner!

Had a lovely experience with Katie who trimmed my hair and then made so much effort to de-sensitise our little one to having haircuts! He screamed and wriggled all iver the place but Katie was so calm and friendly letting him comb his hair with her etc! We are very grateful and will be back for sure! Thank you x

It’s always such a relaxing and friendly experience at Mettyears, I’m probably the oldest person who goes there, but I’m made to feel welcome and I leave with very happy hair!

I had, hair line foils an colour and a bouncy blow dry by myles. Myles has been doing my hair since he started as an apprentice and he never fails to do a stunning job. I would recommend myles to anyone as he is a perfectionist. The best in the business.

From the moment you walk in, you feel like a valued client. Every visit has been thoroughly enjoyed, relaxing with friendly chatty staff.

I have very short hair. I had wash and cut and blow dry , took total of 35 minutes and was charged £57? I would understand the cost if I had long hair as it would take a lot longer. Other hair dresser offer a cut price for short hair.

The new salon is lovely and upstairs is very spacious with plenty of natural light. The staff are all friendly and polite. I feel at ease from the moment I walk in.
I have been going to Sharon for a couple of years now and she is fantastic. The cut, highlights/lowlights and styling are always spot on. Sharon is a very skilled hairstylist - she listens well and the whole experience is very collaborative and enjoyable. I walk out feeling respected and appreciated with great hair!

My sister and I have just left after having Massages, I had Becci and it was such a lovely experience, she gave me a brilliant relaxing massage and we had a great conversation which put me at ease and my sister had Claire who helped ease her knots and loosened her muscles

After months of tension and pain in my back I visited becci for the first time. On arrival she is so warming and makes you feel comfortable straight away. Becci is exceptional at what she does, I have hunted high and low for a deep tissue massage in Kent and know one has come close to Becci. I highly recommend.

Both guys are helping me find my way around my new chemo cures , it isn’t easy with crazy hair! Always easy to park, everyone makes you feel comfortable! Looking forward to a new colour and cut next time.

I had my hair done by Jamie and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I had balayage, toner and treatment and a decent chop to the length! I was unsure going in what tone of blonde to go for, length etc. Jamie recommended what he thinks would suit my face best and explained why. I couldn’t be happier with how lovely my hair looks and feels and of course his recommendations were totally right. Not only am I delighted with my new hair but for me, I can be really nervous in a new salon. Well not here. Jamie is so lovely and made me feel so comfortable straight away. I really enjoyed chatting away with him, he even recommended lots of local spots for me to try as I’m new to the area. My experience was a 10/10 and I can’t wait to go back!
