My first visit to True Hair started with a consultation, followed by a haircut the next day with Jade, who had been highly recommended to me. I’d been considering grey blending for my white hair coming through at the front, but after speaking to several hairdressers previously, I never fully understood the process or how my hair would look a few weeks later.
Jade was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. As a colour specialist with a master’s in colour, she took the time to explain everything in detail — from the colouring process itself to the maintenance and follow-up appointments. She even showed me the test strands she had prepared with different tones that would blend naturally with my white hair, which really helped me visualise the results and understand what to expect.
This was really important to me because I’ve spent so long growing my hair and didn’t want to make the wrong decision. Jade made me feel completely confident that I’d be in safe hands if I chose to go ahead with the colour.
She also gave me a lovely haircut — my hair looked so sleek, shiny, and perfectly cut afterwards. Jade is not only incredibly talented but also such a lovely person, which made the whole experience even better. Her dad, Phil, and the rest of the team were also so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, creating such a warm and professional atmosphere in the salon.
Jade is clearly an expert in her field, and I’m so relieved to have finally found a hairdresser I can truly trust.

I came here for a consultation with Helen for hair extensions, immediately felt welcome no weird feeling like some hairdressers have. Helen is lovely, knew exactly what I needed, knew straight away this was the salon for me. Can’t wait to go bank and have my extensions done. ☺️

As ever, I was not disappointed by my cut and style today. I have seen a few of the stylists at the salon and am always pleased. Today I saw Laura E who did a lovely job. She is very skilled and helps me to feel relaxed. I would happily go back to Laura and have full confidence in all of the stylists I have had so far. A great salon and a strong team.

Tegan had so much time for me to decide on my style. I didn't feel hurried. Thank you for your patience! She took a lot of care. Love my beautifully cut short summer style. And thanks for the nice coffee.

My usual 6 week regrowth appointment, I received professional, warm and friendly service from start to finish. I left with after yet another great experience .

My grand daughter was nervous about having her long hair trimmed. Teegan made her feel so comfortable and special. Teegan was chatty but very professional. My grand daughter’s hair looked lovely.

My mother and I have been coming to True for years. For the first time, today, we had joint appointments with Phil and Jade T. We were both delighted with the results.

Each time I’ve been to True Hair, I’ve had nothing but the best customer service from every member of staff I have spoken too. They explain what they are doing, what they suggest but listen to your thoughts, do not force anything on you and don’t try to sell you something you don’t want or need. Customer service is next to none as well as discussing ideas with other stylists. True hair, true professionalism. Can’t fault them.
