Snuck in on the off chance of (an overdue) "holiday haircut" as down for the weekend - got an appt with Chloe for a cut and blow dry and then Cara for my nails.

What a delight! Not just the best cut I've had in a while but I've worked out that it's actually cost neutral to have hair & nails done here with train from London than to stay amd have them done where I live and I'll save if I get my highlights done too!

Great service, lovely staff, fab prices... and some clean sea air.

On recommendation from sally at the fabulous Beach boutique in Broadstairs I went for the time to Serene as some who uses Toni & Guy in London I will now use Serene when I’m in Broadstairs, spotless shop extremely friendly experienced staff. A sign of efficiency when I asked for toner on my bleached hair was told I would have to have a skin ! This is a sign of a very professional saloon so 5stars all round x

Today had a cut, colour and highlights with the wonderful Chloe. I'm so pleased with the results. Brilliant initial consultation discussing all aspects of what I wanted and she did everything and more with confidence. I walked out feeling really happy. Thank you Chloe you are brilliant. Xxx

Been coming here for a couple of years for waxing from Megan and wouldn't go anywhere else. All the staff are lovely, always feel welcomed and comfortable. Able to book online, wax and products personalised to my sensitive skin type and always a great result.

Pauline really understands my hair as it’s a bit thin and flat. Good cut and tips on styling means I leave the salon happily with more oomph in my hair!

As always a very pleasant and relaxing experience. Pauline does my hair exactly asi like it - always taking time to discuss what is being done first. Mia who washed my hair was very efficient and pleasant.

I have been going to Serene for 15 years I have never been disappointed. My stylist knows what I want and will always listen to what I am saying. I have now introduced the rest of the family and they are also very pleased with the quality of hairdressing.

We were 10 mins late for our appointment and I phoned ahead and apologised explaining we were on our way. When we arrived i didnt feel very welcome, the stylist spent a few minutes going over what we wanted and then took a futher 5 minutes getting herself ready. Both of us felt we were being rushed out the door. Both of our hair looked lovely however when i originally asked about price I was told it started from 30 pounds buy would not be much more than this. We paid 45 pounds each! And we were both done in half an hour but charged for 45 minutes each very confusing. The girl who saw us out was l9vely very polite and chatty. Felt the stylist was cold and like we were an inconvenience to her. But like in say our hair looked lovely.

Absolutely love what Jess did with my hair, I look a little transformed and love my curls. Looks so fresh, new and shiny!

Very Happy as usual! Feel 10 years younger. Roll on next one

This was a great experience from start to finish. I made avery last minute appointment, the staff in the salon were all very friendly and helpful. I had a fringe trim, manicure and gel nails done, all with great service. Best manicure I've had.

Was nervous as I am new to area and have been at same hairdresser for years! However my worries were alleviated immediately. Jess did a fab job of three colour foils with a cut and blow dry.

Excellent stylist. Understood what I was asking for. Made some useful suggestions. Cut very good. Kat said I could pop back for free fringe/back of hair trim if I needed before next cut due.

Fantastic cut and style, all staff very friendly and welcoming. Tea is offered each time you go on it's individual tray, teapot, cup and milk jug, this makes you feel really special. The manageress loves to make sure all her customers are delighted. Prices are good and i would recommend the salon to everyone.
