Had my hair cut by Georgia and I’m very pleased with the results. I usually have to rewash or make changes to my hair after the hairdresser but I didn’t need to do any of that this time. She is very good.
After relocating from Durham to St Albans, it took me a full year—and a lot of research—to find a hairdresser I truly felt I could trust, particularly someone with real expertise in cutting and colouring curly hair.
I’m so pleased to say that Georgia at Studio 10 completely exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel relaxed, listened carefully, and reassured me with her knowledge and confidence. That instantly put me at ease after such a long search.
The result? Absolutely fantastic. Georgia didn’t just deliver what I hoped for—she surpassed it. The cut and colour are exactly what I wanted (if not better), and I’ve never felt more confident about my hair.
Studio 10 itself is a wonderful salon—professional, welcoming, and genuinely focused on delivering exactly what they promise. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, yet you can clearly see the high standards throughout.

Becca was amazing throughout - this is the first time I’ve had a haircut that focussed on my curly hair and paid attention to the style. It looked fantastic, great attention to detail and lots of tips to look after my curly hair! Will definitely be returning.

Had the best colour I’ve ever had today - grey blending and a cut with the absolutely lovely Hattie. I was struggling with previous colour (from elsewhere) that had a lot of brassiness to it, and wanted to get back to a more natural colour that embraces my greys and try to grow out my hair without a harsh demarcation line. Hattie took me through everything, made sure we were on the same page and then worked her magic. Hattie is very talented and precise, and a really lovely person to chat to. Honestly I couldn’t be happier. Thank you! Xx

Georgia was fab - not only did she give me a great haircut, but she gave me a load of (cheap and easy) tips and tricks to styling my hair at home. A real game changer for me - I used to just tie up my hair every day, but I’ve had it down every day since I saw Georgia!
I love a curl girl cut at Studio 10. The staff are lovely and brilliant at what they do. A visit is fun and relaxing, a treat not a chore. I can’t recommend them highly enough

Hands down the best hairdressers I’ve been to. Every cut I’ve had over the past year has been consistent and everyone there is super nice. Ian always makes you feel welcome

My daughter and I both had Georgia do our hair. She worked with me to get just the right color and cut and my daughters hair turned out great as well.
My daughter is very nervous about getting her hair cut and rarely goes to a hairdresser but Georgia made her so comfortable and loved her new hair cut and the salon! Said would be going back !

If you are looking for a hairstylist, who can comprehend your perfect hair vision, then you must visit Studio10! I had an amazing experience there. Since I have long hair, I do not trust easily with any hairstylist, but on my first visit at Studio10, I was delighted with the results. Perfect haircut by Ms. Hattie! 10/10! 💫 :-).
Couldn't be happier with my colour and cut today with Georgia. She was super knowledgeable and friendly and clearly knows her stuff with balyage and curly cutting. This was my 2nd visit to Studio 10 after a number of friends recommended the salon. All the staff are so friendly and there is a genuinely happy vibe to the place. Rebecca did a great job colouring my hair & I really appreciated the fact that she didn’t talk me into additional services which she could have easily done (& has happened in other salons) Ian cut my hair and I LOVE his work. He’s also very entertaining & a good laugh which adds to the fab atmosphere of the salon. The prices are very competitive too. I’m so pleased I listened to the recommendations from my friends and I would 100% Studio 10

I had the lovely Rebecca , who did a great job thankyou . But because I have not been able to work after my back opp and cannot claim my pension for another two years l found it really expensive , £78 , last time l came it was £65 .
Must say Studio 10 is a lovely place to go, my hair colour and cuts are always wonderful- best salon in St Albans (and I’ve tried a few!)
Ian is fantastic at what he does. His perfectionism and professionalism is second to none. I always leave with my hair feeling amazing and I couldn't recommend him enough. You will not be disappointed!

I’ve been going to Ian for a while now, and he’s always amazing! He’s really skilled at cutting short, thick hair, which can be tricky. Both Ian and his staff are welcoming, polite, and professional. I always leave happy with my haircut and highly recommend him!
