Having recently moved to St Albans I found it daunting to find a new hairdresser especially as I have really curly hair that a lot of hairdressers can't cut or style properly. Georgia at Studio 10 is the best thing that's happened to my hair! She's amazing and I feel really confident going there now. Ian, the owner is wonderful and his really welcoming approach filters down through all the staff.

Had a lovely and relaxing experience at Studio10 when getting ready for Prom. The stylist was friendly, caring and guided me through the whole hairdo experience. The end result was stunning! Would come back again.
I had my hair cut by Hattie, and it's fab. I have very long, thick hair which Hattie cut really nicely, and it's so much more manageable now. :)
My stylist Becca, always cuts my short hair meticulously. The cut is so precise that it keeps its shape for ages after my salon visit. I would highly recommend Becca, she always listens to me and explains exactly how she is going to do the cut and checks that I am happy with her approach and the final outcome.
I have been coming to this salon for three years and have had my hair cut by other stylists there too, all are excellent at what they do. I’ve never been disappointed or had a bad experience at Studio 10.

Rebecca cut my hair and she did an amazing job. She took time to understand what I wanted and she gave me some advice and explained every step she took to achieve my desired look. The salon vibe is always super high and friendly and Rebecca is very professional and really cares about her client and she takes pride in what she dows!. I’m a very happy costumer:)

I took my daughter for a haircut and it was an amazing experience! The stylist was so patient and friendly with her – she made my little girl feel completely at ease and even had her giggling the whole time. She left with the cutest style and couldn’t stop smiling – she was over the moon! The salon was clean, welcoming and the service was excellent. Brilliant value too. We’ll definitely be back and I highly recommend them for kids and families.

I recently moved to St Albans, and this was my first visit to Studio 10, so I booked online and made an appt with Jason, as he was available at a time that suited me. I have shortish hair, and many hairdressers seem to prefer dealing with long hair these days, but Jason was a lucky pick for me - he gave me an excellent cut, and was very pleasant to chat to at the same time. I can thoroughly recommend him.

Becca is a great listener and I’m a demanding customer. When you have short hair, it needs precision in how you cut and layer it. She will listen add in her expertise and hey presto a happy customer.

After doing quite a bit of research I decided to give Studio 10 a try. I have recently moved to this area and I didn’t have a clue which salon would suit me. As soon as I walked in Ian the owner greeted me with a smile while doing a great looking ladies cut. I had an appointment straight away for my colour the next day and he then fitted me into his busy Saturday schedule. For a cut with him.
Ian is very focused and I left the salon with the best hair cut I have had in a very long time. He showed me how to blow dry my hair, which was a revelation. He listened to what I wanted and all I can say is I will be back. I’m also thrilled with the colour. I highly recommend this salon.

I started to see Georgia because of the curly hair recommendations online. I’ve had curly hair cuts that haven’t quite been right for me and over getting to know me and my hair, Georgia now knows how to cut it but it’s not a traditional curly cut. She uses all her knowledge to work out what my hair needs and I don’t think I’ve ever had a hair dresser to do that before. I’m 40 (+)! Highly recommend!
I visited Studio 10 for the first time today and had a curly cut with Becca, it was a fabulous experience from start to finish. Walking into a salon for the first time can sometimes feel a bit intimidating but it was the opposite, warm and friendly. Becca was amazing, took her time to explain each step of the way and could see exactly how she knew my hair would look best. Professional and lovely too. I’m so happy and would recommend to any other curly girls out there! I’ll definitely be back, thank you Becca
I am so pleased to have found Studio 10 and Georgia. I have curly hair and Georgia is so skilled in curly cutting. The cut lasts really well and I my curls again. The salon is lovely and I always feel very welcome and looked after.
The staff were absolutely lovely and the salon was pristine but my haircut was nothing short of disappointing. Despite showing an array of inspiration photos , and repeatedly mentioning throughout the session the features I wished to have included , the end result was not even comparable. Firstly , every picture that I showed included some sort of bang / fringe yet somehow I ended up with the shortest part of my hair still being past my chin? Despite constant questioning I was told that I was in fact being given face framing layers , not the slightest bit evident in the end result. My hair is somehow worse than it looked before , many inches shorter with not an ounce of shape to it despite my overarching comment being ‘more volume on the top please , I feel as thought my hair really lacks shape to it’. Not only that but the overall ‘layers’ I was promised are also not visible , I have essentially been given two very distinct tiers of hair rather than the multitude of layers shown in the pictures. Overall I am extremely disappointed and I feel as though the price , for what has been a large chop into a what is basically a square on my head , is extortionate. I feel as though my wishes were completely ignored and so the ‘consultation’ was basically useless. Leaving the salon with hair worse than I entered with wasn’t what I was hoping for , will not be returning any time soon.
Ian at Studio 10 in St Albans is an extremely professional and friendly hairdresser. The atmosphere in the salon is always warm and welcoming, and Ian always takes the time to listen and give great advice. I’m always delighted with my hair when I leave and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommended!
Been really down about my hair and wanted a change. Becca made me feel at ease as soon as she started my consultation; listened to what I wanted but offered advice about what would look best with my hair and its natural wave. Was enthralled watching her cut my hair with such precision; you can tell she loves her job. Came out feeling a million dollars with so much confidence and it was all down to her. All the rest of the staff were friendly and polite and made me feel welcome. Looking forward to going back
