I just came here for the first time for a haircut and it was great! - I loved the vibe of the salon, it was very cosy and inviting and I had Jason who was so lovely and gave me amazing advice and an amazing haircut, and all the other staff seemed lovely aswell - will definitely be coming back!

I had a wonderful experience getting a balayage, cut, and blow-dry from Rebecca. The results are absolutely stunning, and the color and cut are exactly what I wanted! Everyone at the salon was so friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to my next appointment!

I had my hair done here a couple of weeks ago with Hattie, asking for a half head of honey blonde highlights and curtain bangs. I came away from the salon disappointed because my hair was the same colour (not the lifted honey blonde I asked for), none of my friends or family could even tell i'd had my hair done. I also came away with no curtain bangs which i asked for. I called up studio 10 where they very kindly offered me a free redo due to the disappointment of my first appointment. I clarified with the staff when I first walked in that the appointment would be free where i was reassured that it would be. While the highlights were better this time, as I went to the front desk to pay, another £140 was typed into the till. I informed the staff that I was offered a free redo of my hair and despite this, I was still charged a further £44 just for a blow dry. This 'blow dry' was just a normal blow dry with no specialist techniques used, no curling, literally just drying my hair which I could've done myself. I have come away from this hair salon disappointed twice now and so have also been charged for both appointments despite being told the second one would be free.

I had my hair coloured by Bella today and I absolutely love the colour. She was excellent at explaining what she was going to do and listening to what I wanted. I then had Jason cut my hair and again, I really love it. It’s the best colour and cut I’ve had in a long time.

Thank you to the lovely team! I loved my colour today, I’m sorry not to leave a tip, it didn’t leave me an option and I didn’t have cash!

Had such a lovely experience with Ella at Studio 10 today. She did a toner and blow-dry on my hair and I’m so pleased with the result. The toner has completely refreshed my colour and my hair looked and felt gorgeous afterwards.

Ella was so lovely, friendly and professional and made the whole appointment really relaxing and enjoyable. She really listened to what I wanted and I felt completely looked after from start to finish.

I couldn’t fault Studio10 in the slightest. I’ve been going to them for over a year now and always get a warm welcome from whoever is at the front desk. Georgia does my hair, curly cut and colour, and nails it every time, as well as being such great company whilst doing so! The new studio is lovely, really clean and nice touches throughout..fresh flowers in the bathroom I mean, what a nice idea! Would recommend this salon to absolutely everyone.

I had my highlights done by Bella today and I absolutely love how the colour turned out! She is a very talented young stylist and did an amazing job. I then had my haircut done by Jason who understood exactly what I wanted and cut my hair perfectly. I think I have found my favourite hair salon in St Albans! Highly recommended!

Becca is a perfectionist. She is highly skilful and takes enormous trouble to please her clients. She is a delight.

I just had the best curly haircut with Georgia at Studio 10. Georgia is amazing and my whole experience was so lovely. I really recommend both Georgia and Studio 10 for a great hair experience.

Welcoming atmosphere and lovely staff

I’ve been coming to Studio 10 for the past year since moving to St Albans. Hattie is lovely & taken a lot of time to explain the treatments & make suggestions to hopefully progress to requiring less maintenance in the future. I hate spending hours in a salon but it flew by. All the staff are very friendly & highly recommend Studio 10.

I just love this salonl. Ian is so knowledgeable and a brilliant stylist. Would totally recommend.

Another visit today at the salon and this time Georgia cut my hair. I love my new hair cut, hair feels thicker and fuller after a great cut. The products she used smell gorgeous.

Ian and the team always make me feel so welcome, are incredibly flexible and always take time to listen to what I want. I’ve had appointments with many of the stylists and would highly recommend.

I was super nervous about colouring my grey with a Balayage…BUT Becky was nothing but amazing and talked me through it (numerous times)

Oh wow! I had a curly cut with Georgia today and she is amazing. She knows all things curly hair and I am so so happy with my cut. Had my hair coloured by Bella (root gloss) and have received so many compliments on how natural it looks and the lovely tones going through it. She took the time to really chat with me about what I was hoping to get out of the appointment and look at different colours to find the right one for me.

I came in with my Autistic son as I needed a haircut and had no childcare - my son was welcomed in by Jason and assured me if he needed a drink or not and also had my change my seat so I can be near him - mind you he didn't know my son was Autistic .
Anyway - I love my haircut - hair looks fresh and neat and done by a proper hair professional and stylist Jason. Thank you so much.

I’ve had many dry curl by curl cuts before so was very pleased when Georgia said this is how she cuts curly hair. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about curly hair. She asked many questions about my hair and listened to what I wanted. I was very pleased with the results and will be back to see her! Thanks also to the lovely lady who brought over 2 fans when she heard me say how hot it was.

I visited this salon for the first time to get a trim before my son’s wedding. Becca was great. She listened to what I wanted, asked me a lot of questions before during and after cutting my hair, to make sure she was doing what I had asked for. She also discussed products and styling tips which were useful.
The salon vibe is really friendly and welcoming.
The clients were varied in ages which was good to see.

I have been coming to Studio 10 for a while. Apart from getting my hair done extremely well the salon is a joy to visit. Ian , the owner, and all the staff are very friendly and helpful and the athmosphere is relaxed but professional. I highly recommend.

The young stylist applied a darker toner that gave my hair the most gorgeous, subtle shade—blending beautifully from a dark brown into a lighter, dirty blond. It looks so natural! This salon is amazing! The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing! What’s not to like when you get a head massage as your hair is washed!!!!! Jason is a great stylist and creates the style you’re after perfectly!!!!

Becky is a really talented curly specialist…. I’ve struggled to find a hairstylist to cut my mixed race Afro hair… and I’m SOO happy with it… I highly recommend Becky..

I had been here before and was very pleased with the hair cut done by Jason. I even sent my husband in there to get his hair cut by Jason. He did a great job on both our heads. I went back there again today and again Jason did a lovely hair cut, I was very happy with it. He listened to what I wanted offeted opunion om what I wasn't sure on. I felt completely comfortable and trusted his judgement. He was lovely and listened to what I wanted. I would definitely go back to Jason for haircut again abd highly recommend him.

I came to the salon to get an all over semi permanent colour to cover I few greys and also to make the colour I had more even as I had highlights that were a bit brassy. When I booked online it said £65 for an all over colour and I didn’t want a blow dry.
The colour came out decent however I was charged £84 and I was told it’s because she had to use more product?? Also I left with a big brown stain all across my forehead which made me feel very uncomfortable and opted to go straight home instead of going to the gym as planned as I felt embarrassed. Overall I feel
I spent more than I wanted and I left feeling uncomfortable so not the best experience I had so far. Shame as the girl was lovely but maybe she needs a little more guidance and someone that checks what she is doing if you allow her to charge £84.

Friendly service and great haircut!

Everyone was lovely and welcoming, the only thing was it seemed a tiny bit rushed as it was busy, but that’s not your fault as it can get busy, but the results and friendliness was top tier. Don’t want to be mean but the chair already has some hair on it before my appointment which is a bit gross because it wasn’t mine but other than that it’s great, I’m still going to come in for a hair colour appointment soon.
