Super hair cut and blow dry from Rebecca and great colour from Debra.

This was my first visit to Hobs in Rickmansworth and I must admit I was a bit nervous. I'm new to the area and getting your haircut from someone you've never met can be a little intimidating however as soon as I walked into hobs the service was fab. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and the young lady who washed my hair was super polite and gave me a wonderful head massage. Shabnam cut my hair and was lovely to speak with. She made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. She listened to the style I wanted and gave great advice. I'll certainly be returning for my Balayage! Thank you ladies x

Great professional staff in all areas, I was firstly greeted by Natasha, then I met Rebecca and we had a chat about how my hair was and what I would like to achieve this visit. I then moved over to have my hair
washed along with a lovely head massage , then back to Rebecca for a fabulous hair cut. As I left the salon I was delighted with the result, my thanks to Rebecca and the rest of the team xx

Umesha performed a miracle on my hair today. I had a bad experience following a re-style at a different salon, Umesha thankfully gave me my confidence back and styled my hair so I look and feel great again. Thank you Umesha.

As usual the staff were absolutely brilliant. Everyone is very caring, professional and friendly. My haircut today was special as I have just started chemotherapy so the junior and the stylist adopted the right gentle approach. Brilliant. And Natasha is an amazing manager and person. What more could one ask for

I am a returnee to Hobs having had a dreadful experience at the Rickmansworth salon some years ago. I have been fortunate to be recommended Rebecca as my stylist. Rebecca is extremely considerate and professional in her approach and I am delighted with the way she is styling my hair.

Cut and blow dry by Francesca, I’m really pleased with the result. The team were also really friendly particularly on the front desk - I don’t know their names to mention here otherwise I would.

It was my first time at Hobs, the staff were pleasant friendly. Brooke was brilliant and very patient…I will certainly visit again!

Suzie was lovely as always. She knows what I need. It was only a hairline tint today but remembers all the extra details. Extra barrier cream, thick layer of colour on the sides. Thank you. A very happy frequent customer!

Had my hair highlighted and cut. Colour was great. Cut not so much. Speedy cut with most of the time being spent on the blow dry which sets one up for failure. Who amongst us has the skill and 45 plus minutes to blow dry. The cut was mediocre at best. Lasted one hair wash cycle. Felt ripped off tbh. Even the lovely Natasha could only say, " Well, it's good to have a refresh." I'm harsh but it costs a lot of money and it feels as if, as people get older, they are seen as just fodder rather than people who actually want to look half decent with a bit of edginess about them. Not everyone is 20 with long, long locks! Make an effort and listen to your clients. I asked a few times about the direction we were headed to be told he hadn't finished and was drying it first then would finish cut. That didn't happen.
Overall... disappointing.
Watched one of the Hob reels and the guy cutting/training said.. go edgy or go average. Say no more. I don't think my cut even achieved the accolade, "average".
I could, and should, have raised this at the time.. but we left the following day for 4 weeks away. It's hard to do so. Only reviewing now after getting hair cut and sorted at another salon.
I cancelled the scheduled return visit. Two attempts are more than enough.
