Francesca is such a great stylist, she does wonders with your hair. I’m always so pleased when I leave the salon, the service is just exceptional.

Great professional staff in all areas, I was firstly greeted by Natasha, then I met Rebecca and we had a chat about how my hair was and what I would like to achieve this visit. I then moved over to have my hair
washed along with a lovely head massage , then back to Rebecca for a fabulous hair cut. As I left the salon I was delighted with the result, my thanks to Rebecca and the rest of the team xx

Umesha performed a miracle on my hair today. I had a bad experience following a re-style at a different salon, Umesha thankfully gave me my confidence back and styled my hair so I look and feel great again. Thank you Umesha.

As usual the staff were absolutely brilliant. Everyone is very caring, professional and friendly. My haircut today was special as I have just started chemotherapy so the junior and the stylist adopted the right gentle approach. Brilliant. And Natasha is an amazing manager and person. What more could one ask for

I am a returnee to Hobs having had a dreadful experience at the Rickmansworth salon some years ago. I have been fortunate to be recommended Rebecca as my stylist. Rebecca is extremely considerate and professional in her approach and I am delighted with the way she is styling my hair.

Suzie was lovely as always. She knows what I need. It was only a hairline tint today but remembers all the extra details. Extra barrier cream, thick layer of colour on the sides. Thank you. A very happy frequent customer!

Had my hair highlighted and cut. Colour was great. Cut not so much. Speedy cut with most of the time being spent on the blow dry which sets one up for failure. Who amongst us has the skill and 45 plus minutes to blow dry. The cut was mediocre at best. Lasted one hair wash cycle. Felt ripped off tbh. Even the lovely Natasha could only say, " Well, it's good to have a refresh." I'm harsh but it costs a lot of money and it feels as if, as people get older, they are seen as just fodder rather than people who actually want to look half decent with a bit of edginess about them. Not everyone is 20 with long, long locks! Make an effort and listen to your clients. I asked a few times about the direction we were headed to be told he hadn't finished and was drying it first then would finish cut. That didn't happen.
Overall... disappointing.
Watched one of the Hob reels and the guy cutting/training said.. go edgy or go average. Say no more. I don't think my cut even achieved the accolade, "average".
I could, and should, have raised this at the time.. but we left the following day for 4 weeks away. It's hard to do so. Only reviewing now after getting hair cut and sorted at another salon.
I cancelled the scheduled return visit. Two attempts are more than enough.

Never used the salon before as visiting from Ireland for my son’s wedding. Umesha was very attentive, understanding & worked with my idea for hair updo to fit with mother of the groom headpiece. Also used my grandmother’s Pearl head pins for decorative touch. Excellent service. Natasha, the Manager, with whom I made the phone booking was very welcoming. Would highly recommend the salon & use again when back in the area. Thank you girls xx

Sarah understood I was trying to keep my hair natural and curly, and specifically asked me if I wanted to avoid silicones in my hair wash. She didn’t take too much hair off which I was grateful for. Thanks Sarah!

Thanks so much to Francesca for coming to my rescue! Stupidly I had extensions days before a big Black Tie event and had no idea how to wash abs style my hair! Francesca did a wonderful job in setting my hair which lasted all night and was even good the next day! Thank you x

Umesha was very confident and honest with her advice on going from mid length to short, which I wanted perfect after growing out the previous style.

Lovely salon and manager but very underwhelmed with the quality of my balayage for the price. Very little discussion or care from the stylist about what I wanted and seems could use a lot more training on colouring as felt very ‘run of the mill’ job - not personalised at all - the colour was very one dimensional for a balayage. £182 to come away feeling like such a waste of time and money. Also, mouthing ‘for f’s sake’ to a colleague about another customers colour should have been a red flag in hindsight.
That said, the next lady who cut my hair was so much more engaging and did a nice job.

Always a pleasure to see Sarah and trust her with my hair which has always been an issue with me, I finally found a stylist that gets my hair and my anxieties around it! Gold dust! The salon is welcoming and relaxed. All the staff are great and it was spotless as ever

Rebecca is so knowledgeable! She remembered the plan for my hair, and I felt truly listened to. My husband loves the cut! :) I also noticed her leadership in the salon, ensuring work was distributed appropriately, helping provide feedback to the interns quietly. I commend and respect this as a fellow leader in my profession. She’s amazing!
