He always does a good job in washing, cutting and drying/styling my hair. My hair is thick is wavy so it is always so great to find a good stylist who is able to help me . He is also v friendly and good with advice for looking after my hair. Overall my visits have always been positive.

After spending time providing a first class consultation during which she listened to what I hoped to achieve, the end result was fantastic and the best I've had in many years. To start with I will say stylist is a lovely person. However, I was extremely disappointed with my appointment yesterday. My hair is extremely thick, and I have never been to a haircut in my life where the hair dresser has cut my hair all in one go. Normally every person clips it into sections and cuts it carefully, yesterday no clips or sectioning were used at all, it was all cut together even though I had requested layers. During my time of booking I said I was happy with a cut and rough dry but was told at reception I HAVE to book a blow dry if I want layers so my layers can be checked. Again I have never been forced to book a blow dry at any other salon but I agreed and changed my appointment to a day of a friends party so at least I could make use of it.
After he had cut it he dried it roughly and I said can you please do a bouncy blow dry. He said no as he had to check the feathering (I had not asked for feathering so was confused) and he would then fix it with straighteners. I said I don’t like my hair having tight curls with straighteners and he assured me it would be nice. He then started to curl it and immediately I did not like it so told him and he said it will be fine. At the end I was very unhappy with how it looked, I had booked a blow dry and did not have that look at all. He then tried to blow dry over the curls but I just requested him to stop and I would redo it myself at home. He did give me 15% off as I was visibly irritated, and the lady at reception was also nice. I then had to come home and wash my hair again and restyle it before the party. I can now see after washing it is all one length with no layers. Overall this is not at all what I had asked for, I still paid £63 with the discount and don’t feel what I am left with is nearly close to that value. Unfortunately I will not return to this salon.

My hair always looks amazing when I leave the salon. I get so many compliments. Mike and Sara work miracles on my fine hair. Mike did colour and style today and it’s fabulous. Had my hair coloured professionally for the first time and they were so helpful and kind. They did an amazing job on the colour and the cut! A perfect balance of chatty and relaxing and a great vibe across the whole salon. Value for money for sure!

She was very very sweet, very welcoming. I haven’t had a proper haircut in a while since I had a bad experience with a past hairdresser and honestly, Macki gave me so much trust in her and she cut my hair to perfection. She understood that my hair is curly tho I wanted a blow dry and made sure that my haircut would still look good when I wash it curly. Very very attentive and skilled, will definitely go back to her.
