Was happy with my haircut by rohini and her in general but overall experience was not good, nor the hairwash part.
Staff generally not great nor the service overall. Difficult to relax when hair being washed when you can hear the guy constantly talking about his break etc. Also could hear another staff member telling the guy washing my hair to make sure the ends had all been wet….didnt make me feel confident I was getting the best treatment. He also said he would suggest a shampoo for greasy hair….still waiting for that suggestion!!
I booked online for a 5pm appt and was called and i asked to come at 4.45 if possible. I left work early to make it for 4.45 and was actually there for 4.40 but didnt get called till pretty much my appt time anyway. Thats not good enough as I wasted 15 mins of my own time sitting in a busy salon filled with hairspray in the air.

This is the second time ive been to Hob in stanmore, the first time was back in 2017 and the girl washing my hair got water all down my back and drenched my top. She or no one else at Hob even apologised or seemed bothered by it. Not sure ill be visiting again. Not worth it for the price you pay!

Great service from Niamph from the moment I got there. She listened to what i wanted to do with my hair and gave me suggestions. I love my new haircut.

Noelle has been cutting my hair now for 18 months and I'm have very happy with the results.

Honestly I wish I was staying in London longer as I’d make noelle my permanent stylist!

Very pleased with my first appointment with Lilley. The whole salon experience was positive. So good that I have made another appointment.

Desiree was excellent as ever. However I would like to draw attention to the very long false nails of the girl who shampood and then dried my hair. The nails caught frequently on my scalp and on my neck and even once on my eyes. I thought of saying something but found it too difficult. I am hoping that this will not happen next time I am in the Salon. I also feel it should not be happening to your other clients. Such nails do not seem at all appropriate for a hairdresser. She is a lovely girl and in all else was very good so I hope I am in fact helping by drawing attention to this problem

Rohini did an amazing job with styling my hair! The curls stayed all night! The overall experience was great - Rohini was very talkative and interactive. Listened to what I wanted and gave her professional opinion whenever needed! Always good to have a stylist who knows what she’s talking about!
