I had an overall good experience with the stylist but was disappointed not to receive a massage with the conditioner especially as I was having a haircut after a long time

Always a pleasure coming to the salon and even on a busy Christmas Eve you still have time to greet us warmly and have a little chat.

Niamph is an absolutely fabulous listener and always sends you out the door feeling fantastic. She’s very creative and thoughtful about how to recreate some challenging TikTok styles we have asked her for. That makes Niamph an automatic hit in our household!! @niumph much appreciated

I went with an idea of what I wanted and she gave me her thoughts on what she thought would look good and showed me different ways I could style my hair. She really listened - felt personable, amazing conversations and she is just so good at what she does! Would 100% recommend.

Desiree was lovely, she clearly knows her staff and gave a good advice regarding my colour choice and I was satisfied in the end with the final product, but I must admit I was disappointed with the final price that I had to pay £255. Initially, when I made a booking, I asked how much full head colour, cut and blow dry would cost me and I was told it was going to be £187. Today Desiree actually told me that I didn't need full head colour, she looked at screen and it was going to be 145, I assumed she meant £145. I did agree to Olaplex treatment but it was only additional £28. So, I'm not sure how it ended up £255, which is a lot of money especially now during this cost of living crisis. Desiree made lots of nice suggestions for my hair colour but they must make it clear to the client if it is going to be quite expensive. I'll be honest I doubt I will come back due to the cost.

My daughter was so nervous and wanted a very particular style. Sinead listened, made her feel relaxed and pulled off an amazing hairstyle. So much so I booked myself in as well! Thanks for giving an anxious 14yr old some self esteem and confidence Sinead!

I had a blow dry for my bridal shower and asked for a big bouncy blow dry like as girl I had seen in the same salon.

The girl straightened my hair then added curls with a straightener.

I walked out of the salon an about half an hour later my hair was completely straight again which just some waves.

I was incredibly upset but by this time my friends has started arriving.

It is always a wonderful time to spend in HOBS and the attention of all the staff there from reception (Diane) to the lass or lad who washes your hair, offers a back massage from their special shampoo area where you know you will get that once a week good hairwask, followed by an Indian hair massage, and a delightful blow dry from.the stylisys. This is something everybody should enjoy weekly and HOBS know just how to make it special.

Excellent blow dry and colour. Noelle in particular has been absolutely amazing. I have thick, unruly hair and Noelle had my hair looking sleek and stylish from the first visit to Hobbs. They have a very professional team and I would highly recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a good hairdressers.
