I always get a great cut and it's a lovely atmosphere (the offer of a beer is always a nice touch). There's an opportunity for improvement with Reece's football and bread chat, but overall a great experience.

This my 2nd Keratin Treatment/Colour with Reece 😊 I have 4b coily/curly blonde hair. My previous keratin treatment was 6 months ago. I have noticed the integrity of my hair has maintained, especially with the blonde highlights. I’ve seen great growth results in the past 6 months.
Extremely happy and I would recommend this treatment for curly hair clients.

This my 2nd haircut with Reece 😊 I have 4b coily/curly hair. My previous cut managed to last 6 months and maintained its shape. We decided to cut the hair in how it grows rather than creating a shape that will only last a few months. This is from past experience of previously cutting my hair at a different salon.

I haven’t had a professional haircut since 2020…apparently my neighbours Amazon scissors and a trim don’t count! I decided I needed to have a proper Chopp and actually look like a grown up with some style to my hair! I saw on Instagram that Claudia was also new to the salon, so decided that she would be the perfect choice to embark on a new hair journey together! She listened and directed and we go the result I wanted…baby steps this time, but it’s a start! She was such a perfectionist and tweaked and trimmed until she got the look I had asked for. The salon was great…buzzing on a Thursday night and everyone made me feel welcome. It felt like a proper family vibe! Looking forward to being a regular!

Came in for a balayage with claudia, first time dying my hair was nervous but she made me feel very welcome and less nervous. Loved the outcome, booking in again soon!

Leah was excellent with my daughter, she did just as I asked in terms of length of cut etc and she had a great experience. While there I was offered a drink and the coffee was good. Great experience all round, would recommend.

Great guy great haircut hasn’t got much to work with but always makes me feel very smart when I leave. Also his stories are not bad although theres work to do on his jokes lol!!

I have my hair coloured with Leah and cut and styled with Paul. Absolutely great advice on hair care and loved my new colour and cut (as always)! Never disappointed, they create a fab environment and I love getting my hair done there. I’ll be back for some extensions in a few weeks!

This was my first appointment having recently moved back to the area. In previous salons I've found hairdressers can be cautious about cutting my hair as short as I like it. Dan was great, asking lots of questions to understand what I wanted and really seems to enjoy cutting short styles. I felt relaxed and confident straight away thar I was in safe hands and I am delighted with the finished cut!

Having washed my hair at home, the overall result is not a good as I was expecting.
The hair wash and head massage was very good.

Dan is brilliant, he knows exactly what my hair needs and what colours to use, and it always looks amazing when he's finished!

Lovely appointment as always. Young lady gave a lovely head massage with my hair wash… very relaxing. Reece really listened to what I was looking for and gave me the perfect cut and advice on how to keep my hair the way I want it. Very very happy.

Chopp is an amazing place. As soon as you walk in, you pick up a friendly, welcoming vibe along with a buzzing atmosphere with Paul and his team so obviously sharing a passion for creativity in hair. From the very first visit, Ophelia made me feel at ease and spent time carefully discussing what I would like. From hairwashing through to the final spray, I always feel I have been given an attentive and unhurried service. Along with the provision of good coffee (sometimes it's the little things...)it feels like a little haven of wellbeing.

My hair needed a refresh in terms of cut, Paul did wonders!!!!. The hair was on point for the occasion that day. So many people complimented the style ! A great stylist !

I went in not having been to a hairdressers in 10 years, I had long dry and frizzy hair, showed a reference photo of short hair with curtain bangs and Ophelia went through everything with me on what she thought would look best while still keeping to the reference pic, making sure I was happy with everything she was going through, lovely and chatty throughout, once the cut was done she then showed me how to style it as ot was a complete change to before!

Changing hairdressers is always a bit daunting especially after 15 years but I am Super happy with my cut by Dan, 2nd time back and love it, great shape and styling, he listened to what I wanted and just done it.. I feel totally confident in him and have booked my next 2 appointments up to the festive season ? xx

Reece has been cutting and colouring my hair for a couple of years and I hope many more to come. Yesterday I managed to get a cancellation, concerned about breakage and hair loss at the middle front of my head that suggested it’s a stress response. After assessing the damage Reece opened his arms for a hug knowing I was worried and said ‘don’t worry it can be sorted’. He gave me a shorter pixie fringe to blend it in, recommended a Nioxin starter pack and I feel so much better for the cut that disguises the issue.

No matter what service I’ve had, whether it be a full colour, highlights & a Cut., Or simply just my roots I can honestly say my hair looks & feels totally revitalised & amazing every time (even tho I say so myself). I visited the Salon today and Ophelia restyled me so beautifully with a new fringe, I am so so pleased with the new look, thank you! She explained everything and even gave me styling tips to keep everything looking great at home. Plus I now have the most amazing Chopp branded shampoo! Can’t wait for the next visit, thanks again Ophelia, what a pleasure.

Having just moved to Suffolk I returned to Chalkwell to have my hair cut by Dan and it was certainly worth the time and effort.

At a time when life was getting on top, having Paul do my hair and chatting was so relaxing, everyone in Chopp is lovely.

I was half hour late but my appointment was still accommodated and as fab as usual
