I went in not having been to a hairdressers in 10 years, I had long dry and frizzy hair, showed a reference photo of short hair with curtain bangs and Ophelia went through everything with me on what she thought would look best while still keeping to the reference pic, making sure I was happy with everything she was going through, lovely and chatty throughout, once the cut was done she then showed me how to style it as ot was a complete change to before!

Changing hairdressers is always a bit daunting especially after 15 years but I am Super happy with my cut by Dan, 2nd time back and love it, great shape and styling, he listened to what I wanted and just done it.. I feel totally confident in him and have booked my next 2 appointments up to the festive season ? xx

Reece has been cutting and colouring my hair for a couple of years and I hope many more to come. Yesterday I managed to get a cancellation, concerned about breakage and hair loss at the middle front of my head that suggested it’s a stress response. After assessing the damage Reece opened his arms for a hug knowing I was worried and said ‘don’t worry it can be sorted’. He gave me a shorter pixie fringe to blend it in, recommended a Nioxin starter pack and I feel so much better for the cut that disguises the issue.

I’ve had the pleasure of this Salon every month since January. No matter what service I’ve had, whether it be a full colour, highlights & a Cut., Or simply just my roots I can honestly say my hair looks & feels totally revitalised & amazing every time (even tho I say so myself). The service & hair advice provided is 2nd to none, as is the vibe of the Salon & all of the Staff. I visited the Salon today and Ophelia restyled me so beautifully with a new fringe, I am so so pleased with the new look, thank you! She explained everything and even gave me styling tips to keep everything looking great at home. Plus I now have the most amazing Chopp branded shampoo! Can’t wait for the next visit, thanks again Ophelia, what a pleasure.

Having just moved to Suffolk I returned to Chalkwell to have my hair cut by Dan and it was certainly worth the time and effort.

At a time when life was getting on top, having Paul do my hair and chatting was so relaxing, everyone in Chopp is lovely.

As always, first class, Reece fully focused on haircut but interspersed with interesting chit chat about our respective news and mutual interests.

I was half hour late but my appointment was still accommodated and as fab as usual

First class service, as always, I come out of the Salon feeling like a million dollars, wouldn’t want another hairdresser for all the tea in China.

As always happy with the results, totally trust Dan with my colour, never disappoints, very happy with my hair thanks Dan!

Dan spends time understanding what I want from my appointment and takes his time to achieve the best cut for my curls to create a stylish finish.

As soon as I walked into the salon I felt instantly at ease and knew I was in safe hands. I had a consultation with Reece and he was completely transparent and realistic with me about my hair goals and we came up with a plan that I was very happy with but the end results was even better than I expected. Reece talked me through everything and making sure I was happy the whole time. The colour, the hair cut, the experience was everything I could’ve wished for. Thank you!

Absolutely love catching up getting my hair cut with Paul, he put so much care and attention into my curls and gave it a whole new lease of life. My curly hair feels healthier than ever! Only person fully I trust with my hair, and I can’t wait to try out the new chopp hair care products!

What can I say!? I trust Reece implicitly, as I did on the day of my wedding - he is a perfectionist and wouldn’t let me do something to my hair, that he knew wouldn’t suit me or would be a bad decision! If there was a higher grade than A* he would get it! ? Everyone at Chopp are so welcoming, friendly and helpful - having my crazy hair tamed is something I always look forward to!

Paul does the most amazing cuts! Always last and falls back into place even months after I’ve been in. Sorted my colour out and also managed to get my hands on Chopp’s amazing shampoo, conditioner and blow drying balm. Smells amazing and that’s key for me! Fabulous salon with talented staff. I’ve been going to Reece at Chopp for approximately 8 years, and even now, since moving to Kent, I still travel over an hour and half to get my hair cut and dyed here. His knowledge and expertise are apparent and I always leave feeling beautiful. I receive compliments on my hair regularly thanks to him! I highly recommend this salon to everyone! The welcoming atmosphere, and laid back vibe of the place makes it even more amazing.

I can not recommend Chopp enough, especially Reece. The transformation in my hair over the past year is just amazing. My curls are back healthy and the colour is amazing. I travel a 90mile round trip.... and it's worth it!! Always friendly service from everyone..... love the head massages too.

Another outstanding colour service. I have coily textured hair 4a. This is my third visit having my hair bleached blonde. My hair has kept its integrity and I have not experienced any breakages and I’m retaining length in my hair growth as well.
