I visited the salon on 25/05/17 to have a colour done having had a skin test and consultation with a lovely young lady who is a graduate stylist. All went well to start with, this young lady appears confident and professional an instills confidence in customers. However, on no occasion was she supervised, until disaster struck, my hair turned out red, rather than blonde. Apparently the tint took a strong hold. This lovely young woman was pretty much left to deal with this disaster on her own. She called over a member of staff, who could have been her manager, I couldn't see and there were whispers at the sink as they examined my hair. It was only when I was brought back to the seat, when the young stylist was about to take the towel off that she explained there was a problem and as the towel was removed, I was horrified to see that my hair was red. After the initial shock and the realisation that this young stylist was upset herself, I encouraged her to carry on with the cut and she pointed out that it may not be as red after it was dried. When dried the roots were red, then blonde to the tips and the hair underneath was also red, with some splashes of red throughout my blonde hair. I wasn't happy but remained calm as I knew she was a little distressed. She explained that they couldn't do anything at the moment because it would damage my hair. If I came back after a holiday I had booked the following week, they would try to rectify it, but she couldn't guarantee I wouldn't have to pay for it to be rectified. I asked that she talked to her manager, who as it turned out was dealing with a client only a few yards from my seat and had done nothing, absolutely nothing to support her graduate, or to reassure me, the customer, that this would be sorted. When she approached her manager, said manager brought her out the back, out of earshot, where they discussed the situation. The graduate came back with the proposal that they give me 10% discount off the colour and the tint and I would come back after my ho

Vicky and Alison are a credit to the salon, highly recommend, totally relaxing and great atmosphere.

Alison is calm and professional, chats when you want to and not when you don't. She even went out to buy me a soya latte! Overall 10 out of 10 for both quality of my treatment and experience.

Cut colour and blow dry as always first class service,from reception to stylist Claire,also you young lady who washed my hair was a very polite lovely young lady,always feel very relaxed and very pampered,very good value for money.

Friendly warm welcome, prompt service, Abbie was very helpful, friendly and chatty. Lovely cut and finish as usual.

First time at the salon, Michael was amazing!! He took so much time discussing what we could achieve and what would work best for me personally.. the results were even more amazing than I could of imagined! ???? So friendly and so confident in his work which really put me at ease!- overall gorgeous salon! I'm never going elsewhere!

I can honestly say this is the best hairdressers I have been to. The staff are all friendly and always happy to help. It's always clean and has such a great atmosphere. My hairdresser is Claire and she is great. She always gives great advise and I always walk away with a smile on face. I have really long thick hair and she always makes it look it's best. Definitely recommended ????

I can't thank Claire enough I went in with longish thick hair ( totally uncontrollable) and walked out with a graduated bob I absolutely love it.

I have used Serenity for many years and have always been happy with my hair after each visit. The staff are well trained and work well as a team. They show a real interest in each client and go out of their way to ensure that each customer is relaxed and comfortable. As I suffer from neck pain l find the lie back chairs for hair-washing and a relaxing head massage is a bonus for me. Thank you for such a lovely service.

Michael is a great hair dresser. He is lovely to chat to, puts you at ease and listens to what you want to have done to your hair. The head massage was also amazing. In an ideal world I would have my hair done there every two days but sadly do not have the time to indulge myself that much. Lovely decor and relaxed friendly and peaceful environment. OH and I passed my assessment with distinction with not a hair out of place! Thanks Guys x

Had a facial at this lovely salon. Staff were attentive and helpful and it was one of the best facials I have had in a long time with the added bonus of a shoulder and head massage. Wonderful!

I've been going to this hair dressers for quite a few years now and I cannot fault anything about them. Always asking if I want drinks, always friendly and my hair always looks exactly how I want! I have Vikki and she's lovely, she's a great hair dresser. I would definitely reccomend Serenity.

Had my haircut on Friday with Michael and just like the first time I am very happy....he even took time to try to show me how to blow dry and straighten my hair and how much product to use.....thank you.

Clare cut my hair for first time this week.
She took time to talk through what I wanted and suggested her ideas. Very friendly too.

Absolutely outstanding treatment. I have never visited here before. The staff were very welcoming, very knowledgable regarding the treatments and services they offered. I informed the therapist that I had recently had a knee operation and she combined an anti inflammatory treatment into my massage for my knee for no extra. I have even booked myself a hair appointment for next week based on the service delivered today. Well done guys :)

I also had my eyebrows waxed . I am very happy with the result.
We will definitely visit again, I may even treat myself to a skin treatment before my holiday.

My first time ever in serenity and thanks to Alyson I left one happy customer, my hair is amazing, exactly how I wanted it. She made me feel comfortable within my hours of being there. The price wasn't too much either, good value.

I returned to Serenity for a manicure today and was able to get an appointment for a hair wash and straighten. All employees were lovely and showed appropriate skills.

Enjoyed the pampering. Only 'down side' was sharing the small room with pedicures and foot massaging going on at the same time.

Never had a pedicure before & after reading reviews about serenity hair & beauty decided to give them a go. I was booked in with Alison who from the start made me feel welcome & at ease. The pedicure was lovely & I loved the choice of nail colours. By the time I left my feet looked & felt fantastic & with the bright nail polish that I chose, my feet are definitely ready for some warmer weather. Thanks again Alison, your a star & I will be back again. So impressed I've already recommended her to some friends so expect some more bookings Alison.

My first time here...had consultation with Michael on Sat. then on Monday I went from long bleached curly hair to short and spikey with new colour and highlights....all the staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable and keep you going with drinks....Michael was brilliant and listened to what I had in mind and delivered beyond my expectations...so glad I've found someone I feel comfortable with...
