About us

THE GROVE EXPERIENCE is an independent, luxury hair salon, offering a wide range of bespoke services for Guests.

Founded by myself (Gary) and my wife, Giovanna, we opened the salon back in 2009. What was previously a book store we transformed into our Grove Experience. We are constantly striving to offer something a little different for our guests. My wife & I each have over 30 years experience in the hair industry. Our aim was to provide a unique service which would set us apart from other salons.

I have been going to The Grove Experience regularly for years and cannot recommended it highly enough. It's easy to find, park nearby and to book an appointment. Erin understands me and my hair, which has a life of it's own! She cuts and styles it with skill. It takes no time for her to see what's required and set to work - I walk out of the salon feeling pampered, and know my hair looks fantastic.

Super vegan lipstick!!

Kara was great to talk to. She made me aware of everything she was doing. Washing my hair after the colour was just like a massage, as well as the chair massage. Gio has been colouring my hair for many years and never gets it wrong, I’m always delighted with the results. The colour looks so natural that most of my friends have forgotten that I haven’t always been blonde!

Emma was flexible in adjusting my appointment to meet my needs, as I had a change in direction colour wise. Roots covered nicely and ends ready for some foils in my next appointment. Great cut and fab blow dry. Lovely head massage during wash. Been going here for years and would recommend to anyone.

I’ve been coming here for years, it’s a little bit of luxurious me-time in my busy life. Always happy with my cut, and offered advice on products and care when needed. The massage chairs in the washing space are a lovely touch! Every detail is aimed towards giving the customer a great experience, and love their ethics of all products being cruelty free and offering refills on products to save plastic. Can’t imagine ever going anywhere else!

Always enjoy going to “The Grove Experience. “I have been having my hair done by Gary for 5 years now. Lovely relaxing salon - the massage chairs whilst having your hair washed are fabulous. I have been coming to The Grove Experience for many years now and to find a hairdresser who understands your hair is a treasure. I primarily work with Gio, but I’ve also experienced other cutters. They are all very skilled. Through illness my hair structure changed and Gio was able to help with that transition. I’m really pleased with the result. Highly recommended!

About us

THE GROVE EXPERIENCE is an independent, luxury hair salon, offering a wide range of bespoke services for Guests.

Founded by myself (Gary) and my wife, Giovanna, we opened the salon back in 2009. What was previously a book store we transformed into our Grove Experience. We are constantly striving to offer something a little different for our guests. My wife & I each have over 30 years experience in the hair industry. Our aim was to provide a unique service which would set us apart from other salons.
