About us

THE GROVE EXPERIENCE is an independent, luxury hair salon, offering a wide range of bespoke services for Guests.

Founded by myself (Gary) and my wife, Giovanna, we opened the salon back in 2009. What was previously a book store we transformed into our Grove Experience. We are constantly striving to offer something a little different for our guests. My wife & I each have over 30 years experience in the hair industry. Our aim was to provide a unique service which would set us apart from other salons.

Just had a complementary fringe trim between cuts. Erin, like all the stylists, ask and listen to what you want and do it efficiently. Was done within a few minutes. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone.

Came in for a colour refresh with Emma, we tried something slightly different and yet again she out done herself. I always get the perfect results every time I come in. Would not go to any other salon or hairdresser! The salon itself is amazing, always friendly staff on arrival and make sure your well treated! Emma, you’re the best!

After recently moving back to Eadtbourne I was looking for a new salon and I just tried The Grove Experience for the first time to havd highlights and a cut ...Tayler did my hair...IShe was friendly and very attentive and I am very pleased with the result...its a very welcomimg and comfortable salon with attention to detail which makes it an overall very relaxing and pleasant experience ...also great that they can offer appointments even on Sundays and until 9 some evenings if you cant make it at the usual times .....I .will be back and would definetly recommend to others....

I've been going to The Grove Experience for a few years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. Lovely staff who cannot do enough for you, with a very relaxing, yet sociable atmosphere. You stay in one seat unlike other salons I have been to that pass you from pillar to post. All sink basins have massage chairs with a remote to choose your settings.

I go on a half price colour day (different days for each stylist) which makes my colour and cut very reasonable and competitive in price.

Lots of lovely drinks to choose from too which are included in the cost. The hot chocolate with marshmallows is lush!

I’ve been visiting the retreat for about 5 years, every single visit I have received a fantastic experience. The client care is great; hot drinks, magazines & nice atmosphere. I see Kiki who knows exactly how I like my hair & the treatment is always perfect. I would definitely recommend the grove & Kiki!

Love this place, very friendly, willing, actually listen to what you want and explain if it will work with your hair, shape of face, maintenance. Love the products. Love the students. I feel very comfortable here. Nothing is too much trouble for them all. It's a lovely atmosphere. I wont go anywhere else now. Been coming here for about 2 years now.

Love going to the Grove Experience as it is a total experience. Staff are lovely always offered plenty of tea coffee and other drinks. Relaxed comfortable salon with massage chairs at the basins.
