Today I went into Simone Thomas and used my elite living voucher (I have been to the salon before and loved it, the voucher was an added bonus) I really wanted my inverted bomb cut back in but asked Kimberley for her advice on having an under cut and she gave great advice so I went ahead. I also had a half head of high lights and I have to say I walked out of the salon feeling like a million pounds! The rain was heavy but I felt like the sun was out.
I can't recommend Kimberley enough, she is so helpful, polite and made my morning a joy???? Thank you Kimberley and Simone Thomas

I was drawn to come here based on the great reviews I had read. I was very pleasantly surprised too. The service is excellent & my new look put a huge smile on my face, thanks Jazz ????.
We also made use of the first class hair loss centre that they have for my daughter, who has Alopecia. Again, the service was excellent and very discreet. Highly recommend going there to anyone.

Have now purchased two full wigs from the salon, Georgie very knowledgeable and understanding, felt very comfortable trying them on, which is essential when you have lost your hair through chemo. Loads to choose from at different prices, so something to suit all pockets. Would definitely recommend this service, thank you very much.

I have been having my hair done at Simone Thomas since November 2015. I can say I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience each time. The stylist always takes great care with my hair and ultimately gives me a result better than anticipated. My highlights are always amazing, the soft tones are even and the bouncy blow dry lasts days. To top it off, every time I get a short head massage after my hair wash, for me, this is the best part! Most salons skip by this/give a pathetic rub. I get a 5 minute massage which is such a treat. I would highly recommend Simone. Their stylists do a great job, they are friendly and their prices are competitive. 5* thank you, Penny.

This was my first visit and a bubbly young lady introduced herself to me as Jasmin and was going to do my hair. Thus was great as she was going to do all my hair; whole head of hilights, washing, head massage with a beautiful perfume scented conditioner and then restyled. Even wet I could see the difference. I feel younger. My hair os glossy and now looking naturally blonde with all the colours she so patiently put in. As for the style, I love it. Thankyou Jasmin, Lorna

This is just an add-on to an earlier review. Following an unsatisfactory experience, the Senior Director of the salon called us and spoke at length about the unfortunate experience. She offered a free hair cut with a Senior Director and was genuinely apologetic. My wife and child have had nothing but great experiences in the salon and I am sure this was a one off event and mistakes do sometimes happen.

I was looking forward to a relax and memorable experience at Simone Thomas. But it was NOT to be. The lady who gave me the hair cut see to be in hurry and nervous. Starting with hair wash where very hot water was used on my head when I had asked for lukewarm. During the haircut,her hands were shaking. The hair was not brushed off from my face and neck and had to do it myself. Also my shirt collar and shoulder was covers with hair since it was not properly covered.

I was expecting a senior stylist since that's what was agreed when making the appointment. Which I doubt was the case. On the whole a lousy experience. I was hoping for a Starbucks experience but got a below average one.

Very good service, tea n selection of biscuits offered on arrival, lovely head massaged while hair being washed and fab curls for my birthday party tonight, thank you :)

Took my boys to have a haircut with Elisha who has been our boys' hairdresser since they were babies and they love her - so much so that we travelled all the way from Broadstone to Westbourne just to have a haircut by Elisha and so glad we did cause noone can handle my elder one's double crown as well as Elisha!! I visited Simone Thomas's salon in Bournemouth for a truthful assessment of how I look. As a transwoman I feel I need to make the best of my facial features and hair is very important to that first impression.
Their staff, including Georgie, were very welcoming and made me feel my doubts about my appearance are to a large extent unfounded.
We discussed my present situation and the types of hair styles and colour that would suit my age and my bone structure.
After nearly an hours consultation during which time I tried on several wigs of differing colours I came away feeling that I had achieved a very satisfactory outcome.

I have recently started going to Simone'so, having found an excellent stylist,Kim.
I am very happy with my cut,colouring advice and general service which is always very professional, and the salon itself is always neat,clean and tidy

I visited today for the first time for a cut and blow dry, after reading reviews on the net. I was not disappointed. They take their time (not like some I have been to, where they rush to get you out). It was lovely to be able to have a nice long chat with Kim and am looking forward to my next visit.

I came in January to be fitted for a wig before I started chemotherapy. Georgie was so friendly and welcoming and helped me to choose the perfect wig. She also passed on loads of tips for coping with chemo which were so useful. I have had so many compliments on my "hair" and even the chemo nurses thought it was my own - they were amazed when I told them it was a wig. It has made a huge difference to be able to go out looking like me and feeling great about how I look. Thank you so much for making these last few months so much easier.

Very nice service from Jasmine. My blow dry was good.£24 was the top price I would want to pay for it.

Georgia was very friendly. Did a fab job of my hair extensions. Really pleased she fitted me in!

I visited the salon today for the first time and was very impressed. Elisha cut and coloured my hair and it was refreshing to have a confident stylist willing to do what you ask for and give your hair a good cut.

First visit to a salon in twenty years. I was made to feel relaxed and welcome straight away. The stylist was helpful, knowledgable and did a great job on styling my wig.

I visited the Salon for the first time today. I was greeted by very friendly staff who made me feel comfortable and had a lovely coffee.. My stylist was excellent and very chatty so that suited me fine. She did a lovely blowdry and straighten in my hair, definitely recommend and would go back again.

I'm new to the area and was apprehensive about trying to find a new hairdeesser but read some amazing reviews about Simone Thomas so decided to give it a go. I had a colour consultation with Kim a few weeks before my appointment and was reassured by how she seemed to understand what I was trying to achieve. I arrived for my appointment slightly apprehensive but I really shouldn't have been. Kim was so nice and we chatted the whole way through. In addition to the highlights, which I have to say are the best I have had, I had the opulex treatment, which Kim said would enable me to go lighter without damage. I was amazed to find that despite having good condition before, once I had the treatment, it was like having new hair even though it had just been bleached. I didn't have a major cut just a trim which was done beautifully. I can't recommend the salon enough and have already had many people wanting to go there on the basis of the colour on my hair. Thank you Kim!

I love coming to this salon. The staff are very friendly and I really enjoy chatting to my hairdresser. I am always happy with my hair and I get lots of compliments for it! I would recommend this salon to anyone!

Simone Thomas is a lovely hairdressers and today is my second visit. I have not had my haircut in over a year and have spent the majority of it, trying to grow it after a hair dye disaster. Last year, one of the girls had to cut my hair in to a bob to save it. Although I was not happy with having a bob, it needed to be done and the girl cut a lovely bob for me. So after a year of growing out my hair I went back today for a restyle. The girls who work there are lovely and the salon is beautiful, but I'm not happy with my hair cut. I asked for a side fringe which I had to ask the girl to cut more in. I asked for choppy layers and after she dried it I had to ask her to make them shorter, which she still cut the bare minimum. After it had been styled it looked nice but not really what I asked for. I didn't want to ask for anymore as I felt I was maybe being too demanding. Then when I got to the till was charged £50.40! I wouldn't mind if the cut was something I really loved but my stomach

Lovely haircut and nice stylist which is the most important thing. Much better than last time I came but still not as good as Dani, who gave me the best haircut ever. The salon itself felt cold and the chairs are uncomfortable with out a footrest.

As always a lovely welcome from Kim on reception and Kim the hairstylist. Alesha was Beatrice's hair stylist today and she was just lovely with her, making her feel really at home and special. Wonderful haircut and experience. We were also treated to Valentine's cupcakes and a red rose each!

First visit to Simone Thomas, quick informative communication after asking questions on their Facebook and email. Speedy appointment made too.
Arrived at salon, greeted, offered a hot drink and my coat taken. Had Opalex treatment applied which is fantastic if you have highlighted blonde like me. Elisha explained the process and how to maintain my hair, answered all my questions and gave a scalp massage that made me feel sleepy and relaxed! Was then asked what haircut I would like and showed me how much length would be taken off, checking to see if I was happy. Beautiful cut, polished and straightened perfectly. Couldn't ask for more from my experience.

Just had transformation connection hair extensions done by the fantastic Georgie! Love love love them! She is very talented and the salon is beautiful! Great staff full of laughter and made to feel incredibly relaxed and pampered! Highly recommend this salon

Attended to buy a wig prior to starting chemotherapy. Saw Georgie who was lovely, kind, helpful, informative and very patient particularly when I changed my mind and bought a completely different one from one I ordered. No pressure sell either. Would definitely recommend. Only downside is that you can't claim vat back at this salon

I have been a client at Simons Thomas westbourne for a few months now and they are consistently welcoming and friendly. You never feel rushed , the salon is warm and welcoming and very comfortable. I went today for my first visit and Kim was my stylist. I had gone her to get my hair fixed after visiting another salon where they had no clue.
Kim has done a great job and blended in all the blonde and have gotten rid off all the previous patchy colour. It now is a gorgeous colour blended well and very natural looking!
