As someone at the beginning of their transition I was extremely nervous about my appointment. There really was no need though as right from the initial phone call I was put at ease.

Georgie was so lovely and professional throughout. I had an initial appointment in which she helped select a number of wigs, which were ordered in for me to try later in the week.

I ended up going for two wigs, with both having a trim which also added to the whole salon experience, something I’d never had before.

My wife came with me to the appointment and also found Georgie to be so welcoming and put her at ease too.

I can’t recommend the salon enough and in particular Georgie! Whilst I don’t live locally I wouldn’t hesitate in making a return visit when I need to in the future!

First time at this welcoming luxurious salon and looking forward to my next visit. Georgie was very informed and gave me lots of tips on my hair condition. A very professional service.

Georgie was kind and professional all through. She made me feel at ease and was not the least bit pushy. I felt so much more hopeful when I left the salon and am looking forward to my next visit.

Not sure which stylists we had? Sorry , I have naturally curly hair and the stylist was amazing , walked out with exactly the look I wanted. Definitely recommend this salon , lovely coffee too x

Having recently lost my hair temporarily to chemo, I am delighted with the wig choosing and fitting service provided by Vanessa. I now have great confidence to go out wearing a well fitted and comfortable wig that looks as if I have just left the salon! Hair loss is difficult but the wig I have has really helped me to feel confident and less self conscious when going out. Thank you!

Georgie took the time to assess what I was looking for and was very knowledgeable and kind and made me feel instantly at ease.

Was met with smiles and cheerful staff.Sophie cut my hair very well again always making sure it was how I wanted.left salon even more handsome than when I entered!!

I've never found a hairdresser who is confident in how to cut curly hair. Sophie did the best she could and did keep checking if the cut was going in the right direction, so I can't fault her for trying and actually listening rather than just plowing on. But there was a lot of discussion about how tricky / difficult curly hair is to cut. She initially suggested blow-drying it straight to see if the cut was even, which for the natural curly hair look that I was after, needing plenty unevennesses, worried me. But after discussion we concluded using a diffuser would be best.
I'll continue my search for a curly hair confident / experienced hair dresser.
Side note - not sure what the current set up with offering hot drinks, but I wasn't offered anything.
Not an completely unpleasant experience, just a bit disappointing for the price of the cut.

I’ve had the pleasure of a few different stylists in my visits to Simone Thomas, most recently Ashleigh, and every time has been a wonderful experience. As someone who suffers with trichotillomania, getting my hair cut has always been a massive source of anxiety, especially after a few uncomfortable experiences in other salons when the stylist wasn’t familiar with the condition. I can honestly say that I’ve felt so comfortable coming to Simone Thomas and there’s always been an unspoken understanding so I’ve never felt the need to explain and have just been able to enjoy my time there, instead of feeling on edge, which is so lovely. My hair has been cut beautifully each time and I will definitely be a returning customer!

Vanessa was really friendly and patient and I didn’t feel at all rushed in asking lots of questions.

I have been to this salon 4 times( forgot 2 get stamps) and every time it’s been a real pleasurable experience
I look forward to my visits ❣️

I really recommend to fellow curlies! I’d been growing out my hair and it was getting heavy and falling flat at the back and roots. I was nervous to have a restyle- but I was in safe hands with Michelle! She asked questions about my usual hair routine, really listened, adding shape and layers that my curls love. My hair is happy and so am I.

Sharelle put me at ease as it was first haircut post chemo. She explained different cuts and what she thought would look best. She took her time and checked with me the length and thickness all the way through. She explained how to dry my style. I really enjoyed the experience and love my new look.

I only moved to Bournemouth from the Midlands two weeks ago, where I had the same hairdresser for 23 years. I was quite nervous but Sharelle immediately put me at my ease at my consultation appointment this morning. . Even better, she told me that I could achieve the colour I’d always wanted.
Can’t wait to have it done now.

Well chosen hair piece to cover alopecia and explained hair care very well. Hair piece looks very natural, not artificial at all, just amazing, good job done!

Had a really nice time when I had my hair system fitted with Georgia and Vanessa I hope I got the names right. Brilliant service and brilliant cut! Can't fault anything.

First trim and tidy up since finishing chemo and Michelle was wonderful. I was instantly put at ease and we talked through how to style my hair going forward. I couldn’t be happier with the result and can’t wait to go back.

Just had my initial consultation with Sharelle. Faultless. Immediately put me ease (hello lockdown box dyes!) and gave me a thorough consultation on the best way forward to achieve my desired new balayage locks. Sharelle listened to every word, I have full confidence in her and can’t wait to visit next week. Such a welcoming, friendly and professional experience. I made an last minute appointment for help to put my hair up in a clip for a wedding but Sharelle gave me an updo I didn’t even know I really wanted. It was casual and informal and stayed in place until the dancing finished and we went home after a very busy day. So happy!

Sharelle is fab! An excellent colourist. She worked well with my existing colour to tidy up my low maintenance balayage. Neat cut and lovely beachy wave finish.

What a find ! I felt in such safe hands. Georgie was empathetic, sympathetic, professional and thorough. The feed bay was open and honest and I really appreciated that .
I was so glad I had taken the plunge to see a trichologist and so thrilled to have found Georgie .

I get my hair blow dried and curled weekly at the salon. Ashleigh always does a great job with my hair and it lasts for days.

Sophie gave me some really good advice and made me feel confident about the colour I chose to have!

Unable to provide me with what I wanted. Was too embarrassed to say again I wasn’t happy with what they did. Not worth the money. Will not be returning.
