Sammy was so professional and listened to what I wanted and when I was indecisive she really helped me make the right choice on colour and cut . She has managed to match my colour perfect . I had an extended root growth colour redone . Can’t believe it’s a perfect match . (This was my fisrst time back at the salon in two years .Really friendly and really informative . Amazing customer service defo my new stylist and would recommend 100%.

My hair is mixed/afro/washed out colour, and neglected over the lockdown period. Lisa made suggestions as I wasn't sure what I wanted, but she was patient and listened to my indecisive chatter. She did a smoothing treatment last week and today complimented it with a lovely restyle and vibrant colour. Nice friendly reception staff too.

My hairdresser Lucy was confident in what she was doing, the job was done very precisely and my hair did not feel damaged at all despite being bleached. She understood exactly what i wanted with my cut and with my bangs and i was nervous to begin with but fell inlove with the cut. she knew exactly what shade of blonde i was after and the length of the bangs were perfect and i don’t think there was anyone better for the job. During the appointment i was also told how to look after my hair and what treatments to use, including little things like watching out for tan on my hair and making sure to apply hair masks. My hair was left feeling and smelling amazing! All i can say is that i absolutely recommend.

This was my first time at McIntyres with Rosie, she was so lovely and easy to talk to whilst she was doing my hair. During the lockdown period, I have been messing up with my own hair and was very happy to get an appointment for today. Ross did an excellent job, exactly what I wanted. It’s lovely to finally have a nice haircut after so long. It definitely is one of the best haircuts I have had for a while! Even with good measures in place, everyone was quite relaxed and it felt very normal. Just like before, a nice haircut in a friendly salon. Highly recommended!

My first time at the hairdresser since just before the 1st Lockdown in March 2020. Feeling nervous having not been out in months but from the moment I walked in the door I was immediately put at ease. Welcoming & friendly staff in reception. Sammy was there to greet me which helped enormously. (I suffer from extreme anxiety & bi polar so going anywhere is difficult for me) I have always asked for Sammy to do my hair because not only is she a brilliant stylist she is also a lovely person. Always puts me at ease, talks me through every stage of the cutting & colouring etc. I am very self conscious because I have thinning hair & scalp is quite visible. She has been supportive & recommends products & styles to help. I cannot recommend both Sammy & McIntyres enough to friends & family. The whole experience from start to finish always feels relaxing & calm. The ‘pampering’ makes it extra special. The coffee, the head massage & gorgeous products & calming room where you get your hair washed always makes me want to doze off its lovely. I can in all honestly say I have never had a better hair experience & would never go anywhere else. (Was initially nervous about going when the shop was first recommended to me a few years ago because I thought “it looks quite trendy & i will get more anxious” Couldn’t have been more wrong! Shop & staff are warm & friendly & put you at ease.) This really helps me what with my mental health.

I was so happy and excited to finally be getting my hair cut and coloured after lockdown! Sammy is a fantastic stylist, who always makes me feel relaxed and always spends time and care when doing my hair and is great at advising what cut and colour to go for. I always leave the salon feeling really happy with how my hair looks and feels. Everyone at the salon is always very friendly and professional and it’s such a fab place to be - I’m already looking forward to my next appointment!

Had a long awaited cut and colour by Ross- he works miracles! I’m so happy with my colour it’s so rich and healthy looking. My cut is great too. I always have a great time getting my hair done by Ross as he listens to what I want, we have a laugh in the process and he always delivers! Just had hair coloured and cut after lockdown,as usual kay did a fantastic job ,she's great at giving you advice about colour and cut . WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THIS SALON . Freindly atmosphere and great stylists!!
