I haven’t coloured my hair for years due to crazy past colours always fading to a colour I didn’t like.
B was patient, understanding and wonderful, I left feeling confident and excited to continue this colour journey! I’m already booked in for a top up!
The whole team were friendly and made time fly throughout my appointment. An absolute treat :)

I have been having my hairstyled by Alicia at Golson for a few years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. She is excellent at her job and so friendly. The salon is always so welcoming and professional it's a lovely treat.

From walking through the door to Golson’s you are greeted by very genuine hellos and would you like a drink. Alicia is so lovely and I value her suggestions as to the colour and the cut. My hair it’s fine and with Alicia’s knowledge, tender care and the Goldwell products makes my hair look so good. Not wishing the time away, but I always look forward to relaxing in a lovely Salon.

I highly recommend B at Golson. She always cuts my hair really well and spends time ensuring it’s perfect. Every one is friendly and polite and the salon is always clean.

The salon is very convenient for me but I would travel to the opposite side of Milton Keynes to get the service and haircut I get. I feel listened to and truly given the time and attention which results in exactly what I want when I can’t quite explain it. Luke treats his customers and his staff well, and this creates a lovely friendly, relaxed atmosphere where nothing is too much. As the customer I never feel that we’re ‘up against the clock’ like I have in other salons. Great haircut as always, and I’m looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend.

I left a review before stating how I wasn’t happy with how my hair turned out.

In retrospect I should have contacted the salon first, because Luke wasted no time in contacting me, and rectifying the situation.

I was so amazed by the level of care and attentiveness that was shown in making sure that I was happy with my hair.

Luke sat me down and asked my what I wanted, what I disliked and what I wanted the outcome to be.

Amelia was fantastic in bringing his vision to life and I was blown away with how well Luke, Amelia and the team are so customer focussed.

My hair now looks fantastic and my experience has been even better. Thanks so much! Will be recommending Golson to everyone.

Emily makes the whole experience lovely from having my hair cut and styled, the massage chair when having my hair washed to talking through everything she is doing. Emily listens to how I want my hair styling

I’ve been in 2 minds to write this review, as when I visited the salon, the staff were really friendly and lovely so I’ve been conflicted.

Although I was initially pleased with my hair, when I got home my scalp was so itchy, sore and sensitive and on closer inspection there was a lot of dye product that hadn’t been washed off my scalp, causing the itchiness and sensitivity.

I had a balayage done, and it’s not been toned properly. As they’re quite obvious bits in my hair that are brassy still.

The people were really lovely, unfortunately for the price I paid the treatment hasn’t matched up to it.

This is the second review I have left for Golson at Oxley Park and can only reiterate what I said in the first one; excellent staff who are warm, friendly and professional and excellent service and care from when you enter the salon until you leave. Yes, I could have a cheaper haircut but would I have the same treatment? The answer had to be no. For me, the salon is so much more than just having a hair cut, it is a place where I can have some me time, be looked after and pampered by the staff and I would not hesitate to recommend any of the stylists.

Back for colour 2 weeks time

Not the best haircut

I have been seeing B for highlights, cuts and blowdries now for almost a year now and I always leave the salon so pleased with my hair. My hair is naturally very thick and curly and B manages it so well. I've never had a better blow-dry and they always last for days. B is so lovely and professional too and I always receive such a warm welcome in the salon. Already looking forward to my next appointment!

Alicia has been my hairdresser for many years. I trust her to style and colour my hair so that it suits me, my hair and my lifestyle. Yesterday I wanted a change so she took the time to discuss options until we were both happy - and I love my new look!

Emily know her stuff she listens she is patient and a lovely person she has had or still having a real job putting my colour right but looking great now and her cutting is amazing thank you Emily.
Very friendly salon and staff

My appointment with Luke was fantastic. He took the time to ask lots of questions, listened, and clearly has loads of valuable knowledge and experience. He suggested several different ideas of what we could do with my hair, listened to what I wanted, and took lots of time to make a plan for my next few appointments so I can get my hair to where I want it to be. He was really kind and patient with me; my hair hasn’t been at its best after cutting it myself for such a long time and it’s been really affecting my confidence. Luke made me feel so much better, and has cut my hair beautifully. I’m so happy with it, and I’m really looking forward to my next appointment!

A very enjoyable experience

I've never been into the salon before but I'm glad I did. It was the most enjoyable and relaxing and very professional experience. Everyone was welcoming and the service they provide was amazing. To top it all off my hair which was the reason for going in feels amazing.

As always the staff are very friendly and helpful, have been a customer for over 10 years and wouldn't change.

Just love Golson. Alway professional and up-to-date with products and styles. Always friendly and I feel a million dollars when I leave the salon.

As always totally happy with my cut today! Emily manages to surprise me with each cut! I am an ‘awkward’ customer with my hair type! I have suffered hair loss and thinning….. on top of that have fine but curly hair with a double crown and cows lick! LOL I tick all the boxes! Yet I always leave the salon with what I have asked for and feeling like ‘a million dollars’ as they say! Thanks again Emily ??
