Had a new style and love it

Chloe was so amazing at doing my hair and making me feel welcome. Can’t wait for my next appointment.

Luke is always honest and thoughtful, he takes time to explain options to me when he knows my blank look says ‘I’ve had a long day at work, make this more simple for me’. I always feel I get a genuine person-centred and individually considered cut and colour, where Luke takes into account my lifestyle and my dislike of doing much in between appointments. Would definitely recommend either salon, where all staff are friendly.

Always a pleasure to visit this salon and get an overhaul with Alicia. She's an excellent hairdresser and really knows her stuff. Shes current and is a brilliant colourist. She never rushes and always listens to what you're after and advises whats best for you and your hair. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I thoroughly enjoyed my hair appointment. Alicia coloured my hair very professionally and made my hair look vibrant and fresh. Christina washed and blow dried my hair and made me feel very relaxed. Both ladies are absolutely lovely and looked after me so well in the salon. Although I've only been twice, I always enjoy coming to the salon.

Happy with my cut & blowdry. A little disappointed in my colour, had a full head of highlights as I wanted it quite blonde. I’m pleased roots are gone but I feel the shade of blonde is a bit dull, not the usual bright blonde it is usually once I e visited. my family havent even noticed I’ve had my hair done which is unusual!

I do mean to do this every time but sometimes forget!! Another lovely cut Alicia. Good company while I’m there ..really good feel about the Salon. Thanks again.

I’ve been visiting Golson at Oxley Park now for over a year. My last salon had to shutdown after Covid lockdown. I’m so glad I met Christina. She’s got lot of patience, listens and understands my requirements, and gives great suggestions on hair style. She’s got attention to detail. I’ve never been rushed and always got that personal attention. I visit once every 5 to 6 weeks and I totally think its value for money. All the Golson staff are welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend Golson and Christina.

I had recently left the Army and I was completely oblivious to what style I should go for, if any. I was apprehensive to go to a salon rather than a barber - as this is what I was used to. I genuinely thought it was for women. Until I found Golson Salon which advertised styles for men.

Luke talked me through different options and we came up with a plan. Over the months I have tried slightly different styles, and I have really enjoyed the journey.

I would completely recommend Luke because of the time he spends working with you, and getting to know you, to find the right cut and shape that not only suits you, but what you actually like.

It wasn’t just a great haircut but a great experience! Luke took plenty of time to go through exactly what i wanted! I didn’t feel rushed and i felt so relaxed and happy walking away! Would highly recommend!

Loved my hair! The whole experience from the consultation to the cut and blow-dry was great. Luke made me feel completely at ease. I felt pampered and relaxed from the moment I walked in. I love the colour passport makes booking next time so much easier. Loved the head massage, and the massage chairs at the back bar. Really interesting to see the colour bar as well. Highly recommend.

B is amazing! She gave me a gorgeous short cut a couple of weeks ago and based on her advice at the time had highlights (lovely caramel blend) so my nasty 80% grey has disappeared into the blend!!!!

If you want a haircut please don't come here, if on the other hand you want to leave a salon feeling a million dollars after being looked after to the extent you are treated more as a friend than a client, this is the place for you.
From the warm, friendly greeting as soon as you enter the equally warm friendly "see you soon" as you leave, Golson Salon is amazing. Or to use a well known "Simply the Best."
All the stylists are lovely and look after you; they listen to what you want, not tell you what they are going to do and advise you on all aspects of your hair care and treatment.

From my very first appointment and from the start to finish of each, Luke takes time to listen and really understand what I want even when I’m not sure. It’s the little details such as noticing how I wear my glasses and how that will affect my hair. He’s incredibly skilled in what he does and a genuinely nice chap with it.
